HESTER!!! Aaaahh yes! It is the star of all names. I once wrote a poem about this glorious name.
Hester, Hester: a name of such beauty
The wind speaks it in the morning sky
Not Bob, not Anita, Jeanette or Rudy
Just Hester brings a tear to my eye.
When I am sad, and life is a tester
I must have some piece of mind.
Quickly I utter the name: Hester!!
Happiness I then will find.
I don't know, I just love that name and I had to express it to the world. I published it in my local daily paper. I felt misunderstood until that time of expression. Now I am okay no matter what other people say to me about this name that gives joy to my soul.

Personally, I love the name Hester. Like Hester Pryne, from The Scarlet Letter! Just don't ask people if they like the name hester, it typically doesn't come up during a normal conversation.

Don't sweat the small stuff. We all have things that get on our nerves and we dislike but, if we dwell too long on these minor differences of opinion they escalate into problems that can affect our mental and physical well being. I suggest you find out why other people dislike what you like before judging them or yourself for the displeasure.

be busting blood vessels all your life, not worth it.

I feel like everyone, including you, is entitled to an opinion. Maybe you shouldn't ask what people think about the name if you don't want to hear what they have to say.

Whenever you have a pet peeve, just realize it is YOUR issue, not everyone else's. You can't expect everyone to change their way of thinking just to make you happy.

If everyone was like you and like the same things you do, how boring you would find the world.
It's just a name, and not even yours. So what is the big deal?
