Their is dog food that is made for overweight dogs. Change their food and more excerise. 1-2 walks a day. And if you could take them some where on the wkend, like a hike, or a dog park or visiting with another friendly dog (a new dog tends to hype up a dog), or a swimming lagoon. Something that they can run or swim or play would be great
*wow there are some strange answers. Don't starve them. :)

Split their meals into two feedings 1/2 in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening, and be sure the amount of food your're giving them is the amount suggested on the food bag.
The biggest problem for weight gain is the giving of treats, so minimize the number of times a day they get a treat. For instance, my vet suggested I give only green peas or beans as a treat to my older dog, and she's lost about a pound from that alone. (I give her 1 tsp of green peas after morning and evening feedings). She loves them...frozen and canned both.

This one is a no brainer!!
Decrease calories and inappropriate ingredients - increase exercise.
But more seriously look into changing your dogs' diet. Grains and other high carbohydrate foods are not digested properly by dogs as they do not produce the necessary enzymes in their mouth or gut. This can lead to excess glucose production, obesity and even diabetes or other pancreatic problems.

A good kibble without carbs., no treats, feed 2xs a day to break it up for them, don't feed or give treats no matter how hungry they act. Try to exercise them more while the weather is still nice. The first week will be hard, after that it'll be plain sailing.Good luck.

No table food and keep an eye on the number of doggie treats.
If you feel that their diet isn't being matched with a little physical activity....maybe you should schedule some serious exercise time. It probably would do all of you good!

change their diet to a single cup apiece of food designed for overweight dogs. take one on a walk in the morning, and one on a walk in the evening. no table scraps, cut down on doggie treats. talk to a vet about a good diet or food brand that will help.

Longer walks every day. Overweight dogs usually have overweight people at the other end of their leash. Both the dogs and you will benefit.

Love them anyway.
Take them for walks or to the park to play and run around.
If they are good around kids, have kids play with them.
Run and play with them yourself.
Most dogs love to play and run.
