green is the heart chakra , it is for healing ... especially emotionally
we heal during sleep in many ways
if your bible is green during those hours , then it is giving some nice healing energy to add to the other healing you are already receiving

I've never had mine do that, but either it's Satan tricking you to make you think it's God, since it is the Bible, or else it's God calling you to something. Pray about it. It doesn't sound Christian, but how would I know?? God works in wierd ways sometimes. But if you're a TRUE, HONEST Christian, Satan can't POSSIBLY get in. Just pray about it.
