Call some vets in the area and find out!!! Some offer a free first exam for new pups and kittens. You can shop around for the best deal also. Prices can vary greatly from vet to vet.

My small breed puppy cost £42 which is around $80. They did not include a check up fee.
She had 2 shots, with a 2 week wait inbetween.
They do not give rabies shots in the UK.

You can save a lot of money on shots if you do it yourself. Any of the pet supply catalogs sell vaccines for dogs and cats. The price is under $5.00 with the syringe. The only vaccine you are not allowed to give yourself is rabies. My favorite catalog is UPCO.

around $30 for an exam fee and bout $10-15 for shots.
Sometimes you can find vaccine clinics that only charge for the shots, and not an exam fee.
