well since i cant get a hold of my husband to ask him about this i thought i would come here my 2 yr old son spilled some pop into the back of my tv not alot but enough i guess cause now it wont turn on will it dry its self out and will i be able to use or has it pretty much S**t the bed?? and just so you know i was in the bathroom when it happened and it was an accident he spilled it on top and some of it ran down into it and it was on at the time

Chances are ? was it on ? It will need to be cleaned with electronic contact spray cleaner(to remove sugars) dry ed and fuse checked.If it was on and did not cause the transformer to burn(you would have seen smoke and smelled it)other than that you could try letting it dry and hope for the best.How ever I suggest a cleaning and check.

If it was on at the time it more than likely is fried. Unplug it, turn it upside down on a towel let it dry for several days. Try it after you are sure there is no residual moisture. If it pops allot or smokes, don't risk it, shut it off and unplug it.
