Im not trying to diss you and your religion. but I really dont understand like how your religion says that only a set amount of people actually go to heaven, I think God would never do that, God is seen as loving right? so dont you think he'd be pretty fair and let other people other then the people who are jehovah witnesses, Im a deist but I mainly fall on christianity, and I think that athiests even should be able to go to heaven, as long as their good people and are sorry for what they have done. I just cant see any God ever turning away someone whos good but didnt necessarily believe in him.
Im really sorry if I'm wrong there all my information is from a friend, so I could be wrong, So please dont get upset if i'm wrong, I think you guys are pretty nice, I know a few and there proper nice people!

Jehovah's Witnesses are unique in believing that only 144,000 people will go to heaven. They have two classes - the 'anointed' (who will go to heaven) and the 'other sheep' (who will live forever on a paradise earth). However, rather than discuss this peculiar belief, I think it is more important to focus on what God says about who will and who will not gain admittance into heaven.

A lot of people think it is sufficient just to "be good" - that a merciful God would never turn a person away simply because they were not a believer. Wishful thinking, and not based on what Jesus said. "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish but have eternal life... Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son" (John 3:16 and 18).

It's as simple as that. Jesus is the only way, and those who do not believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour will be turned away. Happily, he will never turn away anyone who genuinely seeks him. Are you genuinely seeking the truth and want to know about God and his purposes? If so, then you need to pick up the Bible (I suggest you start with the gospel message in John) and prayerfully ask God to help you. Email me if you have any specific questions.

We have to go back to / What was the original intent on God creating Adam and Eve? Wasn't for them to live together fill the earth and live forever on it? There was no heavenly life mentioned, on the contratry When they lost that privilege God made an emediat way out for mankind at Gen 3:15.
For those who don't understand that first prophecy there was no perfect sacrifice to give to God to say we are sorry for what we did, can we have everlasting life back? Just animal sacrices that were given in behalf of their every day sins that they committed.

Remeber Adam and Eve could not give anything to God that was perfect because they were now imperfect so God provided for manking his perfect Son as a proptitory sacrifice for all mankinds sins including restoring everlasting life.

There were seven resurections recorded in the Bible including Jesus. If you will note after all of these people were raised up from the dead they did not say a thing about the heaveny relms, another life, firery hell or anything. They just thanked Jesus and were happy to be a live and went on there way. Don't you think that if they were transformed to the heavens that at least one of them would have said something about it, like why did you resurect me back here to this lousy earth when I was in heaven?

All the reserrections were done back to life on earth was an example to us for what was going to happen on a larger scale at the great reserrection after Armigedden.

Jesus talks about two classes of sheep or people.
A small fock and a great crowd. That small flock is that small number of that one hundred fourty four thousand that will reign in the heavens. That is a small flock incomparason to the great crowd of people that no man can number that John saw comming out of the Great Tribulation.
Rev 7:1 - 17

Jesus himself said that no one can enter the kingdom unless they have first been born from the water and the spirit. That means that only baptized spirit-anointed Christians are called by God to heaven.

Jesus further revealed that the opportunity to go to heaven did not open up until John the Baptist introduced Christ to the world.

Matthew 11:11 reads: "Truly I say to you people, among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is. But from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press, and those pressing forward are seizing it. For all the Prophets and the Law, prophesied until John."

If John was the greatest prophet of God, as Jesus said, and yet he is lesser than the least one in the kingdom, then that means John is not in the ruling kingdom.

And since, according to Christ, no one before John entered the kingdom, then it is evident that neither has people like Abraham enter the kingdom, as many wrongly suppose.

Most people have been taught by Christendom that all "good" persons go to heaven. That is not what the Bible teaches.

The kingdom of God, or the kingdom of the heavens, as it is also called, is a government composed of Jesus and 144,000 chosen from his followers. That heavenly kingdom is going to rule over the earth—including the resurrected Abraham and his seed.

Hello ......... If you think about it from a purely human view without the bible or christianity for a moment and ask yourself what are your dreams, hopes and wishes, many if not all would include in their answer to live somewhere warm, peaceful, to have people around that are of the same mind and that would live in peace and harmony together.

In short, that is the desire that man has always had from the beginning. We dont aspire to go to heaven we all desire to live and not die. That is how Jehovah, (God), intended man to live. That is the what he said to the first man and woman to "become fruitful and fill the earth. He has already got sprit creatures in heaven, (angels).

God's purpose is to have a earth filled with peace-loving righteous people who worship in unity and live together in peace and harmony.

The fact that there are a small number of people who are destined to go to heaven, is firstly a number that God set in the bible. these are the ones that will bring the earth back to the state that god intended it to be, under the leadership of his son Jesus Christ.

I know that you have a friend that has given you some information, but may i suggest asking a witness to show you directly from the bible what God says as the whole issue that man faces today is a complicated one and it is best that Gods word speaks for itself.

The Witnesses are more than willing to show all what the bible says and will not push you in any direction that you are not willing to go

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I believe that only the Annointed Class, which consist of 144,000, will go to heaven. Those who are righteous and unrighteous will live forever on a Paradise Earth.

Jesus promised his apostles a place in the heavens so that “where I am you also may be.” (John 14:2, 3) That his apostles had this hope is clear from their writings. Thus the apostle Paul wrote: “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, should be dissolved, we are to have a building from God, . . . everlasting in the heavens.” (2 Cor. 5:1) Such Christians have “a living hope . . . to an incorruptible . . . inheritance . . . in the heavens,” where they will be “sharers in divine nature.”—1 Pet. 1:3, 4; 2 Pet. 1:4.

The Scriptures make it very clear that the number of those going to heaven is, comparatively speaking, small indeed. Thus Jesus said to them: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” And in three places in the book of Revelation, the number of spiritual Israel, the number of those with the Lamb Jesus Christ upon the heavenly Mount Zion, is given as just 144,000. Of these, it is said that “they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.”—Luke 12:32; Rev. 7:4; 14:1, 3; 20:6.

For a man to be eligible for the heavenly hope, certain steps are required on his part and on God’s part. He must repent from his past sinful course, must convert by turning around to follow a course of righteousness, must dedicate himself to do God’s will and be baptized. However, that is as far as he himself can go. The rest depends upon God.—Acts 3:19; Heb. 11:6; Acts 4:12; Matt. 28:19, 20.
Then, if God so wills He individually calls such a man and chooses him through His Son, Jesus Christ. (2 Tim. 1:9, 10; 1 Pet. 2:9) Such a man God also declares righteous on the basis of his faith in Christ’s blood, and by His holy spirit the man is brought forth as a spiritual son. (Rom. 5:1, 9; 8:15, 16, 33, 34; Jas. 1:18) Once having received this heavenly hope he must keep integrity, proving faithful until death.
Thank You.

If you know some Jehovahs Witnesses you should discuss this with them. They can show you scriptures that confirm that only a limited number go to heaven.(Rev.14:1-4)
Why on earth would you want to go to heaven anyway? What are you going to do up there?
Jehovah God has promised that he is going to restore this earth to its former glory - as it was in Adam's time. And all those obedient to him will have the prospect of spending eternity in this paradise. They will have perfect health, there will be no more death, pain, sickness,
hatred,etc.
Now that to me is where I want to be!!
(Ps.37:9-11,29;Pr.2:21)

I don't understand how other religions say that all believers or all of such sort will go to heaven.

THe Bible says that those who are resurrected to heaven as spirit being as to be kings and priests. Rev 5:9,10.

What other reason is there to go to heaven?
