You can choose your job based on your score on the ASVAB.
I don't know about OCD, but asthma after the age of 13 is a disqualifier. If you really want to work with the military though, you could look into civilian positions: they're mostly non life threatening and you get to work with a lot of military people.

Well first of all you would not even be able to join the military with you medial disabilities but there is a way around everything in the military. You are going to have to lie to get in. Second ok about the job that depends on the score you make on th asavb test. If you want to go the medical route there is only one job and that's X-Ray tech and the other jobs would be in the Admin field such as finance and or legal with one of these fields you will never see combat you still will have a slim chance of going to Iraq like 40% but when you do go you will never leave your camp and you will be around high ranking officers that have a personal security detail

You have to be able to pass basic. There is a lot of marching, running, climbing, and carrying a heavy weapon and field pack just about everywhere you go. There is a gas mask test in which they fill the room with gas, you have to hold your breath for awhile, then you put the mask on and run around the room a couple times before going outside.
the physical training is daily and usually includes a run of maybe 10 k
without a weapon, then you go for breakfast and have to do pullups maybe 5 or so before you can get in the mess
hall. Even when you get out of basic you have to do physical training every morning before you go to your job, sitting in an office or working as a medic. Nobody is excused, except officers.
There are pushups ( alot of them) for when you screw up (everyone does) and situps for the same reason, squatjumps
and duck waddles. There is hand to hand combat training which you carry a stick with padding on the end and try to knock your opponent down. Jujitsu type training, and carrying gear in the field if you are picked.
Your best shot is the air force. Keep your physical condition to yourself, they might catch it anyway during the physical.

Asthma after age 12 will automatically disqualify you from being able to serve in the military, as would the OCD. Sorry

The last I knew, you enlist and the army decides where you go. My husband enlisted in the Air Force, and wanted to fly.
Instead they gave him a battery of tests and made him a Russian Linguist. No, when they started he didn't know a word of Russian. But when they finished with him he did.
OCD and asthma both can get less intense as you age, if it does you might want to give it a try, but they will put you where they need you.

Scorpion was right. You can't join the army, period, with asthma, I'm pretty sure. You might be able to get a desk job, but you'd have to talk to a recruiter... you'd still have to run, so it's quite unlikely. When you sign up, you have your choice of jobs within what you place for based on the ASVAB.

Asthma past age 13 is disqualifying for enlistment in the armed forces. There are no waivers. Current affliction with obsessive-compulsive disorder is disqualifying as well.

Medical Disablities can limit your job, no matter what you scored on the ASVAB test, but having asthma is a bad thing. You can be color blind and still join.

My son was in the army, but discharged when he got asthma. I think that you can join the air force or navy with asthma, but you can check with a recruiter.

It doesn't matter what you do or want to be in the military, you can't join if you have asthma, people get discharged even if they never had it in their entire live and then develop it.
