Hi I had the same problem 1 month a go my dog had puppies she killed 3 but 3 are still alive ,what i did is I bottle fed them just for the first 2 days so my dog could calm down abit they get really stressed if they didnt have a quiet spot to have their pups, you just need to open their mouths and keep trying to feed them what also helps is rub their stomachs and backs pet them abit before you feed and they will want to eat,you need to keep trying or else they will die and also keep them very warm they also die if they get cold and when you finish feeding them you need to get a paper towel and rub their privates so they can pee and poo after they eat or they could die all this the mom does it to them with her tongue, after a couple of days you need to hold your dog down and make her feed them if you do this a few times she will learn to take care of them trust me.Now my dog takes care of the puppies even licks their privates to make them peee and poo she drinks their pee some even eat their puppies poopoo. Yuk!! i know but dont give up they need their mommy's milk atleast for the 1st month, feed them with a bottle for the first 3 days and then try mommy she will learn to love her puppies. GOOD LUCK!!!

Bottle feeding tiny puppies is pretty tricky, and it's very easy for them to inhale the milk into their lungs which almost always results in pneumonia and death.

It's much better to tube feed them. Take your puppies to a veterinarian (or a 24 hr. animal clinic if your vet. is closed ) and ask them to show you how to tube feed. It feels a bit scary to do it the first few times, but I can tell you from personal experience that it's way better than trying to bottle feed.

Your puppies will need feeding every couple of hours, so you're going to be very busy for a while. Enlist some help if you can! It's possible the momma may decide to accept them given the chance, if she feels stressed or threatened in any way though she could kill them.

If you want to try, give her just one or two puppies and then leave her alone in peace and quiet with them for a little while. If she won't be nice to them though you'll just have to do the best you can. Don't breed that female again though, if she's not a good mom this time, it won't improve!

best of luck with your puppies, I hope they make it.

I raised 6 puppies from birth. You have to open their mouths to accept the bottle at first.

Using thumb & fore finger, lift the upper jaw & stick in the nipple. It may take a few attemps to accomplish this. You can squirt some of the formula into the corner of their mouths & when they go to swallow their mouths will open enough for you to insert the nipple.

You may have to tube feed them if you can't get them to take the bottle. You probably need instruction to do this. I have never done it so maybe someone here can tell you how.

Your mom, needs to be more careful! A one day old puppy is beyond fragile, and be very seriously injured and your mother could have caused internal damage, that you cannot see. I would suggest that you get off the computer now and take that poor puppy to the vet, or you may wake up in the morning and find that it's dead! Don't take any chances with this or you will probably regret it!

get someone to help you put the puppies in your lap and try to open their mouth by a little force be gentle since they are only one day old and get the other person to put the bottles nipple in right when their mouth opens.

Guess you need to try harder, keep trying, take them to the vet so they can show you, or take them to the vet so they can show you how to tube feed.
