I am getting 2 Lhasa Apso dogs for free and I need to know how to care for them. They are brother and sister called Brick (boy) and Sophie (girl). If anyone is interested in seeing them then post your e-mail address and i'll e-mail pics of them.

1st, get a decent book on basic dog welfare, a good book practically tells you everything you need to know. 2nd get a book speciffically aimed at Lhasa Apso owners, to find out the details.

The basic needs of dogs are:

Food
Water
Exercise
Bedding (mabe a cage if they are used to them)
Toys
Grooming equipment
Dog-Proof environment (hazards,temperature...)
Vaccinations (check if they have them)
Collar, ID tag, Lead

Lastly, and probably most importantly, lots of tender loving care!

Apart from taking care of them just like any other dog, I would go out and get a book on Lhasa Apso's and read it. Also there is a great wealth of info on the net! Not here though!!!! If you want real true facts, look for a breeder on the net who you can e-mail with questions if need be. But a book will be of great help too.

make sure they get neutred as u would not want any accidents , regular grooming and bathing , are necessary for this breed , and a good routine , , i would want to know why they aare being rehomed , , if they are still young then why have 2 pups from same litter , if there is a problem in the breeding u will b doubling up on it , if they are adults then hopfully the temperments are sound , and they have no bad habits which can b hard to stop in the older dog
