My Ahole neighbor shot my cat with a pellet gun. It just made one hole......perhaps yours is a dog bite.

A soda straw? I'd suspect a dog or raccoon bite.

A broom straw? Maybe snake but he'd have been injected with poison (fanged snakes are vipers), I'd suspect he got impaled on a bush or tree branch or some backyard stuff when he jumped down and didn't clear everything.

Watch for an abscess to form, if you're lucky no infection got inside and it'll heal up without a problem.

It sounds like something bit it and brought about an absess and the fur fell out. I also have a splash cat that needs to stay exterior, yet she's been bitten by using different cats a lot that i do in comparison to letting her out. at the instant, she got here domicile and that i observed clean liquid oozing out of a small hollow close to her tail. once I regarded greater heavily, there have been 4 holes in all and he or she had absesses decrease than each and each of them. I had only gotten her properly from that, while my husband enable her out lower back and this great tomcat chased her removed from the domicile. various days later, she got here domicile along with her hind leg ripped open each and each of how down the lower back. Now all and sundry interior the kinfolk is prevalent with to no longer enable her out in any respect. I understand you're allergic, yet no longer why you accompanied a cat in case you're allergic to them, yet it fairly is neither right here nor there. you should take it to the vet to make confident this is not any greater desirable than purely a chew. needless to say, something is attacking the cat or possibly somebody is taking photos the cat. the two way purely a vet can tell and do something for it. there is not any longer a lot you're able to do in case you are able to no longer shop it interior. which you should to work out if somebody else could desire to take it and shop it interior.

By the size of the two holes it sounds like a dog bite. Apply neosporin daily and don't cover it, let it get air. Watch him close for a day or so. I'm assuming he's up to date with all his shots because there is a chance of him catching an infection from the bite itself. You might want to consider making a call to your vet, they may want to put him on antibiotics just to be sure.

well maybe your cat has been in a fight could b another cat has bitten him , in which case just keep area clean and bathe it regul;arly with dilute milton , keeping wound open so it heals from the inside out , . another possibility is an air gun pellet , so keep an eye on him and see if it heals , if it does not then probably indicates a foreighn body and needs removal by a vet

Could be a BB pellet, could be a ruptured abcess, could be a bite wound.
Ideally, he should see a vet and maybe have a rabies booster if it appears to be a bite, the cheap version...keep an eye on it.
