I'm 19 and a few months ago I started getting sharp eye pains nad seeing spots and stuff. Along with itchy eyes. I went to an eye doctor (a specialist to be exact) and he said that my eyes look perfectly fine. They're just a little bit inflammed most likely due to allergies and pollen. He gave me a prescription for eye drops. That was on june 1st.

Now it's october, and my eyes have been acting up again. Horrible itchiness, some eye pains (either sharp or a dull ache that will appear out of nowhere. I'm also prone to getting tension headaches, which is what it sometimes feels like in an eye), and sometimes I think I'll see flashes of light. But I'm also a severe hypochondriac so I don't know if I'm really seeing the flashes or if it's all in my mind. I can make myself see or feel things because of my anxiety disorder.

Anyway, do you think my eyes could've changed over the course of 4 months? And I already had blood tests and everything came back normal.

I'm sure if I had somehting like diabetes it would've shown up in my tests.

Do you think it's all in my head? Or do you recommend going to another doctor...again? I've heard that sometimes people with eye allergies can see spots and stuff like that.

Thanx peeps!

I do use the eye drops, But not often. Only when my eyes are extremely irritated.

I would suggest getting your eyes checked by another Ophthalmologist (Eye MD). Floaters and Flashes suggests very serious conditions including Glaucoma (high pressure inside the eye) or Retina Detachment. Both warrant immediate diagnosis and prudent treatment.

Glaucoma can be tested with a Applanation tonometer which is the most accurate form of measurement for Intraocular Pressure (IOP).

Retina Detachment can only be diagnosed through looking at the insde of your eye after dilating your pupils.

Both procedures can be done at a Ophthalmologist's office. So do not delay and seek professional advise immediately.

I'm 53 and had developed eye floaters about 4 or 5 years ago. The doctors told me that they're harmless, but whoever has had them knows how annoying they are. They also said that I could have them "burned off" with laser surgery, but there was no way I was going to "burn" anything off my eyes! So I kind of accepted that my floaters were there to stay.

Then I came across this system, and seeing that you were offering a full money back guarantee, I figured I had nothing to lose well I was wrong - I did lose my floaters!! Oh my god I still can't believe my floaters are gone and my vision is as pristine as it was 5 years ago!

Getting rid of eye floaters without the high costs & dangers of laser treatments?

It may well be nothing, but with floaters and flashes I think it's a good idea to get checked out again, including checking for glaucoma (high pressure in eye), by an eye doctor.

So are you still using the allergy eye drops? Itchy eyes are due to allergies 99% of the time; allergies can also cause headache and eye pain.

Spring allergies (March to June) are due to trees, summer allergies (June to Aug) are due to grasses and fall allergies (Aug til frost) are weeds especially ragweed.

I think you have a tree and weed allergy.

I would go to a different doctor just to be sure. My bosses husband just had to have surgery cause his retina was torn in three places and he was having floaters. I doubt thats what it is but just to be sure you should check it out. good luck
