my throat hurts, but not when I swallow or breathe, only when I move my neck or touch a spot below my jawline?

only on the right side of my neck, what do you think it is and how long will it last? Thanks

I had the same symptoms many years ago and it turned out to be a blocked saliva gland. Never knew you could have this. Anyway the Doc gave me antibiotics and that solved the problem.

It is likely a muscular condition, as it only hurts to move the neck or touch the area. You could take over the counter muscle relaxants. It is doesn't go away shortly, see your doctor.
