whats the difference between que and lo if they both ean that?

The same as word "IT"...but there is difference in using those words, Spanish use words Lo - it , La - for feminine, and El - for masculine...and it is always in front of the main word... examples... Lo mismo means the same, La mar means the sea, El hombre means the man...
Te quero means i love you, so TE means YOU...
i've started to learn spanish through songs and music , it's beautiful...just listen and you'll understand...

These are pronouns. I actually remember asking the exact same question about "lo" when I was a beginning Spanish learner. Don't worry; you'll learn soon. You don't have to understand every single word all the time to be learning.

lo has various uses, including him, it, you (formal).

te means you, informal

both are objects pronoun.

subject - tu; equivalent object - te
subject - el, usted; equivalent object - lo

"Lo" mean it or that.

"lo que" = that which

"pongalo" = put it

"Te" is the reflexive form of you, or "yourself". Tu te lavas = you wash (yourself).
