can you die of starvation and still be fat?

they say that you can live ~40 days without food and probably if a 400 lbs man would live for a bit longer without food and of course he'd lose some weight, maybe even 100 lbs or so, but would he die of starvation (say in 50 days or so) and still be fat?

It could happen that the 400Ibs person would die of malnutrition.

The body needs certain chemicals and nutrients to be able to process food, without those nutrients the body could not burn the fat off.

So, yes. You could die while still fat, but it would be from malnutrition not starvation - not much consolation when you are dead though!

No you are able to no longer. have you ever seen a image of a fat corpse that had died of starvation? No. fat is food reserves. as long as you have it on your physique, you will no longer starve to loss of existence. as quickly as the fat has long gone then, sure, it fairly is while starvation starts. The fatter you're, the longer you are able to pass without food. it is so undemanding as that.

i dont know i think he might but it would be nice to find out cause my cat runs awya and gets lost alot and my brother says she wont starve cause she is fat and the body eats some of the fat i think? hope that helps.

No....the body will burn ALL of its fatty reserves, so the man will be thin when he dies.

You CAN be fat and have malnutrition, however.

yes its possible..especially if you have tape worms in your stomach. The worms will eat all your food in your stomach and you starve.
