Many times, as he usually does, the covers will get pulled from me and by the time i get them back, they are completely drenched in his sweat. It has a very sour smell to it as well and he seems to sweat every single night, yet he thinks he must have a comforter on him any time he does sleep. It's hard for me to roll over and sleep facing his side, usually when this happens I wake up because of the sour smell and it wakes me up fast.
Whenever I leave while he is sleeping he will steal my pillow because he has already soaked his. All my pillows that were once perfectly white are yellow blotted. So because of this, I sleep with no covers and no pillows. I wash them once every few days but many days I can't get around to it and just have to go the night sleeping with no pillow and no covers.
Any help?

btw, I've tried to sleep on the couch many times before and it just offends him, I don't want him to know how much this bothers me because I know he can't help it.

well he keeps covers on him no matter how hot or cold he is. He will cover himself in a cotton comforter all summer too, it's just a vice he needs to sleep.

.Okay first of all, your Hot! Now to your question. You should take him to the doctor, that is not normal. Good Luck. Also many alcoholics & drug addicts sweat heavy when they sleep. The body is trying to detox. Hope this isn't the case
with you guys.

Does he sweat that much during the day? Maybe he has some sort of medical condition a doctor could help him with. If not, you're keeping the bedroom too warm. Turn down the heat or raise the air conditioning, install a ceiling fan and use it at night. Take the pillow when you get up and kick it under the bed so he doesn't know you don't want him to use it. Buy extra pillows and keep them in the closet so you will have a clean one every night. Likewise keep an extra blanket in the closet for you and put it away when you get up. Good luck!

If you live in an Islamic country, you are a slave who must obey. If you live in the west, you are protected by western laws and as such, you will have to decide whether you want to spend the rest of your life with a bad man or claim your right to be a mother. A mother has a right to raise her baby as she sees fit. You, unfortunately married a bad man and the only solution is to leave him. If you live in the west, you can do this. Be very secretive, plan your escape in your head and write nothing down. Then when he is out, take some things for you, take some things for your child(ren) and go to the police. Tell them you have run away from a husband who hits you and you need to know where a women's shelter is. The police mostly hate men who beat their wives and babies. They will tell you where to get help. Once inside the shelter, there are women there who will help you start a new life without the bad man, find a new home, get free furniture and food, go to school to learn what you want to do as a job and provide daycare for the child(ren). They will even direct you to the nearest mosque. If you don't leave, you will be beaten more and more harshly the older he gets and the more angry with you and life he becomes. It WON'T get better. He WON'T start respecting you. He MAY beat your children too some day. Take responsibility as a Muslim woman with rights... and a brain. Your baby needs you to be strong and do what's best for you both. Good luck.

How cold do you keep your bedroom, and how heavy or insulated is the quilt on your bed? Sometimes, if our bedroom was too cold, I would cover myself with the insulated quilt to keep warm. But, then I would get too hot and start to sweat, but I couldn't take off the quilt because I knew my sweat would would make me feel freezing in the cold room.

We solved the problem by turning up the temperature at night (72 or 73 farenheit is about right) so that I don't have to wrap a quilt around me, and using a cover that is not insulated but is heavy enough to keep us warm and lets a little air pass through it. If we need a little more cover to keep us warm (like in the winter) we put a knitted afghan between the sheet and the quilt.

A good indicator for getting the right air temperature is your nose. If your nose is cold after lying in bed for 15 or 20 minutes, you might need to increase the temperature a little bit.

I sweat at night too
it seems to be worse when I eat a lot of carbs in the evening before bed.
if I really limit carbs in the evening it seems to help
if I go to bed hungry, I don't sweat at all

Try putting a fan in your room, maybe it will keep him from getting hot.
