All the way through the Old Testament the Coming One, God's Anointed, the Messiah, God's Salvation is promised and there are over 300 prophetic descriptions that identify Him in some precise detail. They plainly identify Him as God.
Jesus Christ perfectly fulfills those descriptions.
Now since A D 70 it is impossible for some of those prophecies to be fulfilled, though in fact they have been fulfilled in and by Jesus Christ.
God chose Abraham to make of him a nation that we know as Israel, or the Jews, and who would produce the Saviour, our Redeemer. As a nation they were to be light bearers to the world but yet they failed. Yet God accomplished His will, despite their failure, through a remnant.
Pictures and types of Him and the nature of His work and all about Him, abound throughout the Old Testament, so much so that everything in the New Testament is in fact contained there in the Old.
Christ is the Saviour of the world and though He came through the Jews He is for all.
Plainly, as God manifest in the flesh, He has come for all, to repent and be saved through Him.
He is not exclusive to any but available to all. The church was intended to bear the light in a similar manner to the Jews but was soon corrupted and with all its array of visible organisations and buildings and denominations and outward practices and divisions has failed just as the Jews, but God is again not surprised and accomplishes His will despite all this, again through a remnant.
How?
None can believe in Him unless God reveals to them and that simply explains why so many have their own views and religions and why so many prefer what men say and think to what God says. Both the Jews, and the Muslims fall into this category and so also the visible church (or what proudly passes itself off as the church).
Yet He promises to reveal to any who truly seek with their whole heart.
Such is the wisdom of God in trying the heart and humbling the pride of man.
Though He is available to all yet, He is revealed only to those who truly want Him.
The remainder are left to their own choices.
You too, have that opportunity to seek Him.
Use it well.

Actually, the Bible tells us that it really doesn't matter who you are or what religion you belong to. If you profess with your mouth that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died for the sake of all mankind, has risen from the tomb, and will come back to Earth again, then you will be saved. In short, Jesus Christ is the Messiah for ALL mankind. Not just ones who believe in him. But just because He is the Messiah, doesn't mean everyone will get into Heaven to be with our Lord. You must profess the above to be saved. If you want, I will gladly show you where to find the information I just told you about.

Jews don't consider Jesus to have been anyone special. Jews don't consider Jesus, period. He's not at all relevant to our religion.
The Jewish criteria for the Messiah includes bringing about world peace, building the Third Temple, reestablishing the Sanhedrin, abolishing the Evil Inclination, bringing the Jews out of exile, and so forth. The man personally has to be a righteous descendant of King David.
I understand that Muslims consider J.C. to be someone special, but you'll have to ask one of them for the details.
And Christians, of course, think he's the be-all and end-all of everything.

The Jews believe that the Messiah will bring about a Jewish nation and rebuild the Temple. Jesus is not the Jewish Messiah. The Muslims view him as a prophet and the Christians believe that he's the Messiah.

If we look at the patern of the religion of Abraham, we find jews and arabs believing in the same god. Jesus came along and told the people to get back in line with the origional teachings of the religion. Mahammed came along and repeated the same message that Jesus had preached.
Messiah:- Chaldean..... Meaning "anointed of god"
Christ:- Greek............Meaning "anointed by god"
Jesus was a jew and came for the people of the line of Abraham. These people, we know today, can be genetically identified. That rules out a very large number of the would be selfrightious I am saved brigade.
As The Qoran states Jesus did not die on the cross, but lived on. He actually died in Kashmir, his adopted home, at the age of 84. Don`t doubt it go and see his tomb for yourselves, before quoting religious dogma.

Muslims consider Jesus to be "a" prophet or teacher. The Jews consider him to be a zealot.
To Christians He is the Messiah, the Son of God, their Saviour and Redeemer, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Name above all names.
Christ saves all those who acknowledge Him as their personal Saviour and Lord. There are many Jewish and Arab Christians in the world.

The Jews killed Jesus (no hard feelings). They don't believe he was sent by God.
Christians believe that Christ is the son of God and the Messiah.
Muslims believe that Christ was a Prophet, but not the son of God or the Messiah.

Jesus is the Messiah, His message is the same for everyone. His offer is the same for everyone. We need to pay attention to what He says.
Muslim consider Him as essiah, but they still do not think He is God. Jehovah's Witnesses think that Jesus is Savior and angel and son of God and even "a god" but they do not accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
Mormon's believe that Jesus is Satan's brother. How crazy is that.
