Here is the correct answer. Jesus was "The Angel of the Lord" in the Old Testament. Not an angel but "The Angel". He made specific appearances. He appeared to : Adam and Eve in the garden,to Abraham at the terebinth trees and ate with him along with two (regular) angels,he wrestled Jacob so as to change his name and finally get him under control,he appeared to Samson's parents; Rember Minoah said "We have seen God face to face !!"...and was afraid they would die.Gideon saw him at the wine press. Joshua saw him as the "Captain of the Lords Hosts".Jacob felt the same way as Minoah,he said "I have seen the Lord face to face yet my life is preserved".What they didn't realize is as John says "No man has seen God at anytime it is Jesus who reveals him to us".
To see the triune God would be more than a person could take ,the brightness would destroy you! In Zechariah 3 as Satan accuses Joshua the High priest it is Jesus who stands in and proclaims him righteous.
Genesis 1 says "Let us make man in our image.." When you read John1,Collosians 1 and Hebrews 1 you find out who the "We" is. All things they, say, were made by God through Jesus and Jesus made the worlds and all things in them. That's where Jesus was in the Old Testament

Here is just one example. There are a few others in the Old Testament. Not many, but a few.
"Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them ....."
This is what Albert Barne's Commentary has to say on the "us" in this verse:
"The plural form of the sentence raises the question, With whom took he counsel on this occasion? Was it with himself, and does he here simply use the plural of majesty? Such was not the usual style of monarchs in the ancient East. Pharaoh says, “I have dreamed a dream” Gen_41:15. Nebuchadnezzar, “I have dreamed” Dan_2:3. Darius the Mede, “I make a decree” Dan_6:26. Cyrus, “The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth” Ezr_1:2. Darius, “I make a decree” Ezr_5:8. We have no ground, therefore, for transferring it to the style of the heavenly King. Was it with certain other intelligent beings in existence before man that he took counsel? This supposition cannot be admitted; because the expression “let us make” is an invitation to create, which is an incommunicable attribute of the Eternal One, and because the phrases, “our image, our likeness,” when transferred into the third person of narrative, become “his image, the image of God,” and thus limit the pronouns to God himself. Does the plurality, then, point to a plurality of attributes in the divine nature? This cannot be, because a plurality of qualities exists in everything, without at all leading to the application of the plural number to the individual, and because such a plurality does not warrant the expression, “let us make.” Only a plurality of persons can justify the phrase. Hence, we are forced to conclude that the plural pronoun indicates a plurality of persons or hypostases in the Divine Being."
According to this, and when taken in conjuction with other parts of the Bible, "us" included Jesus Christ. Of course, He wasn't called Jesus at that time. And don't ask me what He was called; I don't know. There is some indication that "LORD God" indicates God the Father while "Lord" indicates Jesus.

Jesus says that He existed from the beginning of time; consider John 1:1-17 which states that Jesus was with God/was God from the beginning.
The New Testament sometimes refers to the revelation of Jesus Christ as a mystery in the past, revealed only at the time He came. Consider this passage, one of several:
Ephesians 3:3-5 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
Some people see that Jesus was revealed with Old Testament events, such as the Angel of the Lord, the Commander of the Army of the Lord (Josh. 2). He is also foreshadowed in the man Melchizedek (Heb 7).
That Jesus existed prior to the New Testament is stated, but it is also clear He was not meant to be understood before that time.

"In the beginning was the Word". The Word is God and Jesus. Jesus was with God from the beginning.
He was in the firey furnace with the 3 young men (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) who refused to worship the ruler over them. There are several places in the bible where Jesus is mentioned, just not by that name.
He was given His earthly name when He came to earth as a baby in order to give His life for us.

you do. jesus made us. he and God together created the world, the universe. also throughout the old testament you hear of the lamb of god coming.... the messaiah. how he was coming to free everyone..... now they thought it meant that he would free them from roman rule....but he meant to free them from their sins and from death....for the price of sin is death. that is why before he came people would sacrifice animals for their sins.. and it had to be an innocent animal like a lamb. hence jesus was the "lamb" of god. he was innocent and took upon him self our sins and died.
it mentions it all in the old testament and jesus wasnt born untill the new testament.

I think it was because he did not have a good PR manager. it is very important for Christian evangelists to get a PR manager if they are to succeed as an evangelist. Jesus did not even exist after Mary.

Jesus did not exist until Mary gave birth to him. And he was never supernatural... He was human and he had temptations like everyone else. You may want to go and read the bible a little to find out more.
