I'm both---near-sighted in right eye and far-sighted in left eye!

I had to get my eyes checked when I was in the 9 or 10 grade because my old precrip wasn't working and it was making my head hurt really bad. When I went to the eye doc and had my eyes checked they changed so much that I had to get new glasses and thats when I found out that I was and still am far-sighted in my left eye and near-sighted in my right eye! And as a joke I ask my friends and family if they are near-sighted or far-sighted and tell them to try on my glasses and they usually can only see out of one lens!

I have been near sighted since the 9th grade. This year I had to get bifocals and I hate them. The first day I fell flat on my face. Sure would like this system over with so I can see 20/20 again. Can't do lasic as my eyes are too dry for it.

Both, and I have no idea how! I'm very nearsighted and I wear a strong prescription in lenses (-10). But we recently discovered that it should actually be -11 (and -12.50 in glasses) but I can't read, use the computer, or anything of that sort when I go beyond the -10. I'm at a loss as to what to do because all of this is recent, along with a mild focusing problem and cloudy vision in one eye.

I haven't worn glasses in 16 years and got my first pair yesterday (to give my eyes a break from lenses) and I can barely use them. I have an appointment with an opthamologist in 20 days and it can't come fast enough!

I'm near-sighted. I wish I weren't though. It's such a hassle to wear glasses and contacts. Oh well...dreams of 20/20 vision! ^_^

very slightly nearsighted, but I have astigmatism in both eyes, so I get blurred vision at all distances depending on the amount of light in any given situation
