i have oily skin only on my fore head and nose but it looks so gross compared to the rest of my skin. i dont really have red acne on my face just oily skin. i can wash it off but later it comes back and no i dont touch my face. so i was wondering what could i do to help prevent it. should i use a sunscreen? does clean and clear shine control work all day? is there anything good that works(and try to be cheap please)? and i know about oil blotting paper but i want another way because its weird going to the bathroom all the time to blot my face in privacy.

i had the same problem, but i went on this website and they said to chop up non-coated aspirin, about 6, in a bowl and add a couple drops of water along with a touch of pure aloe. all you have to do is crunch up the aspirin into a fine powder and add the water and aloe. mix it up and apply it to your face. After about 20 minutes, the mask should be dry. wash it off with your hands, and don't use a washcloth!!! just do that once or twice a day or a week and you should notice your skin getting drier. you can't cure oily skin, but you can help it.

I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM...SO TO WASH MY FACE I USED Biore OIL CONTROL PRODUCTS FROM CVS OR RITE AID....AND IMAN HAVE THIS PRODUCT OUT THATS LIK A SERUM AND ALL YOU NEED IS A DROP AND THE OIL IS COMPLETELY GONE FOR THE NIGHT....I USE IT WHENEVER I GO OUT AT NIGHT CUZ THAT WHEN MY SKIN SHINE THE MOST.... AND ALSO (THE SIT COVERS THAT THEY SUPPLY IN PUBLIC BATHROOMS THE WAX LIK PAPER) IS REALLY GOD FOR OIL CONTROL IF YOU WEAR MAKEUP, IT REMOVES THE OIL BUT NOT THE MAKEUP

Go to walmart and pick up some witch hazel its very cheap and use it a couple times a day with cotton pads. you can take a couple with in a ziplock bag if needed.

just put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, or tissue or towel and put it on your face. it stops redness and shiney-ness instantly.
