They can make the chains of information but thats it. Not even very certain that that will go anywhere at all.

They can put pieces together. But the growth of the human mind has become a great thing. It is discovering new things all the time. But to make new life, there is no reason why that should be impossible.

What will we think of ourselves once it has occurred? We're just making microscopic(and some very big, kind of ugly gene modified animal) "frankenstiens" right now. And I don't think it will ever be anything *greater* than that.

So someone has to be a "creator" to get new life forms---that's what we've ben saying!!! It needs an intelligent designer to organize it..kinda sounds like God to me. Nothing new there.
It's still impossible for life to start by itself by chance over time from non-living matter....just cannot happen either here on earth or anywhere else in the universe.

I would love to read about this in greater depth.

Doesn't change much, just means we are getting even smarter.

Anything is possible. But it doesn't change my mind about God.

They certainly make up a lot, but create ...?

I'm sorry, but it's hard not to laugh at the pompous.
