Just download AVG free, it's free, it does use up a ton of memory, and it works just as good if not better then anyone you will pay for.

I have been using it for a while with no programs and even tested it against online scans. I leared about it on a computer tech site I help out at time to time. And my moms computer IT person installed it on her computer

OS X is so secure, you don't need any Anti-Virus program for it.
