Take a look at these two statements made by one of the 12 Apostles of the Lord then explain to me how Mormon's are not Christian.

I have never seen so many people that claim to understand the religion that they attack but really have no idea what they are talking about. I would encourage all of you to look up the talk given today by Elder Richard G Scott of the 12 Apostles in General Conference session II Saturday afternoon. I believe he addressed each and every one of your doubts about Mormon's being Christian. I would post the link but it will not be available until Thursday of this week. Look for it at www.lds.org under conference addresses.
We are in fact - the only absolute Christians on the face of the earth today and share much in common with our other Christian Brothers and Sisters.

Theology = "words about God"
Words need proper definitions in order to be useful in communication or theology.
Unfortunately for Mormons....they speak of a "different Jesus" and "another Gospel".
The Jesus of Christian Scripture is not "the spirit brother of Lucifer". The Christian God is not "an exalted man". The Christian Gospel is not of "works" as is the one of Mormonism.
St. Paul warned us about "another Gospel" or "another Jesus" - I'm afraid Paul nailed the Mormon problem right on the proverbial nose.

I think that the real problem here is not being adressed. Are Mormons Christians? Well i would say yes on the very basic of levels just as i would say a catholic person or a muslim is also a christian. Where the problem comes in is, in the fact that most mormons don't really know what is going on behind the scenes. I was part of the Mormon church for over a year was baptized and all and never once did i ever hear about the core beliefs or practices that occur in their temples. Most things done at the higher levels of the church is done without the knowledge of its congregation. The rituals that are done are for the lack of a better term satanic at their core. Most are done in such a way as to glorify all but god and to make man into god. If in fact mankind can obtain godhood and become gods of our own universes then all power to them and they seem to be on the right path unfortunatly nothing i have read in the bible other than from the blasphemus mouth of satan has ever led me to beleive that man can in fact become god. But once again many people don't even realize how dark their practices are. I am not going as far as to say that it is wicked and entirely wrong but to beleive in what they are saying then you would have to accept all the other "Holy texts" written by their prophets. What i find reall interesting is that much of the "Book of Mormon" doesn't really touch on the subject of God and His as well as mans True divine nature. It was written in other books that most people aren't introduced to until they reach higher levels in the chuch. I also was upset with how their church ran their sunday services. I sat there for an hour and was enlightend by the bishop teaching about how man is suceptable to satans influance, then i went into a room designated by my age group and for an hour and a half i learned about how the church was setup and how it was the only true church on earth. It was then i realized something wasn't right. When the elders came to my house and taught me about what was expected of me and how the church differs from some of the other religions i was hooked i loved the knowledge i was gaining about the lord. I love learning new things about the lord and that what kept me listning. But as soon as they stopped visiting me and i started going to the church regularly the knowledge stopped and was replaced with a sense of urgency that i needed to understand why i needed to stay in the mormon religion. If there practices are biblicaly sanctified and just then i would ask them to open their doors share their beleifs and practices and explain some of their discrepencies. If they are truly trying to spread the word of god than i for one would love to sit down and have a conversation and have these things explained to me. I have tried to understand by going to various websites but i think that at this point i can not be satisfied by simple website designs that barely scratch the surface of whats going on. And that brings up the final problem if people only hear whats wrong with a church whatever church it may be and leaves it at that without offering an explination then eventually people will stop even trying to learn more about them and rely strictly on what people are saying about them.

I don't want to hurt feelings but one must tell the truth.Remember how Jesus told the Jewish leaders "Outside you are whitewashed and clean like the prophets tombs but inside ,you are full of dead mens bones and all kinds of uncleanliness"?
That is much like the Mormon religion(not the everyday folks).
Non and Anti Christian beliefs that just are blasphemous are:That God is a man who ascended to Godhood. That Adam is that ascended man.The belief that "As man is,God once was,and as God is ,man can become".That is a horrendous statement!Don't use Psalm 82 either,it doesn't wash!Jesus says "God is a spirit" in John 4 ,yet Mormons teach God has a solid body. They also teach that there is a Mother god also and that she and God are going at it producing "Spirit Babies"up in heaven. Then ,when a human is born, one of these spirits goes an inhabits it.That is just 'nutty'.They also teach that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers and that when they fought, all the spirits that stayed neutral were cursed by becoming "******" when they get a body on earth.
That is not Christian,at all! None of it! Now,tell me....Am I lying?
This is only scratching the surface. The LDS people are some of the finest people in the U.S. but they have the wrong God and the wrong Jesus.
Remember in Galatians 1 where Paul says "That even if we or an Angel from heaven proclaim a different gospel contrary to what we first gave you...Let him be accursed!" Folks, that is harsh and means damned by you know who!
He also says in 2nd Corinthians 11 that "even Satan disguise himself as an Angel of light"..
Now ,Joseph Smith received this bad information from an Angel (could it have been?)just as Muhammed recieved his "different gospel " from an Angel who called himself Gabriel,Joseph's Smith's angel ,Moroni, also gave a false gospel. So what does Paul say to do?
I say reject Mormonism and stick to the received Gospel as taught by the real Apostles of Jesus Christ before it too was perverted by the Roman Church.
"Solas Scripturas"as Martin Luther said.Scriptures only and you can not go wrong!

Mormons are Christians in their own right, The Christian churches claim that if anyone doesn't follow "Their Bible" then your evil, But what people fail to understand is, you can't condemn what you don't understand or control.
Do some history research on pre-Christianity you'll learn allot.

1. You deny original sin
2. You believe in the Bible, but you ADD others as authoritative: The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price
3. You reject the Trinity
4. You define God as having a physical body
5. Jesus: "Mormons do not agree with mainstream Christians that Jesus is the eternal Word of God or God himself. In Mormon belief, Jesus was a created spirit.... before being given a physical body, just like all humans. In the Mormon text "Book of Moses," Satan and Jesus contend for the privilege of taking a body of flesh in order to become the redeemer, with Jesus winning the contest. The spirit of Jesus was then given a body through the Virgin Birth to Mary in Bethlehem."
6. You believe that the Holy Spirit is a being separate from God and Jesus.
7. You believe we are saved by WORKS and faith
8. You believe that we get a "second chance" after death
9. Your whole idea of the afterlife is twisted beyond recognition ("Joseph Smith also taught that families can live together forever in heaven if they are "sealed" through special temple ceremonies")
10. You believe that hell can be temporary
Any questions?

Because Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism is dead. I serve one who is alive for evermore - Jesus Christ! How could Joseph Smith offer eternal life to anyone when he could not even save his own?

Because the mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers. They are not. They have added to the gospel which we were clearly warned not to do. In fact, they have pretty much perverted the entire thing. They are not Christians.
