I have accepted that when I die, if I am in fact, wrong, I will go to hell. Boo hoo. But Christians, what will you do if when you die, it turns out you were wrong? What if, you were praying to the wrong god? What if there are multiple gods you were supposed to pray to, and it turns out that the bible was a lie? You'll go to hell, too, and would've wasted your life praying and going to church, would you not? Have you accepted that?

Ah!! pascal's wager in reverse,
DRINKS FOR EVERYONE ! ! !
now as to your question,
praying to a God that hears and answers my prayers, is not a waste of my time.
having the assurance, and comfort that I receive, knowing that God is in control.
as for going to church, and spending time with friends of like belief, having good fellowship with them.
well you do the same thing you just go to a different house of worship than I do.
no I have not wasted anything.
I have a wonderful life, and would not change ot for anything.
can you say the same?

I savour your question and understand that those "obnoxious Christians" make the Christan community as an entire seem undesirable. actually, those "obnoxious Christians" actually be bothered by the delight of "self-righteousness. a real CHRISTIAN might like the soul as a human and make the attempt to show out to that distinctive soul why their habit or way(s) opposes the observe of God. it relatively is a actuality that it relatively is impossible to get each and all the international's inhabitants (say 6 billion) to agree on a similar component for any subject. the great variety in ideals, journey, education, upbringing, life sort and a great form of alternative factors impasse this depend into the chaos this is a significant element of our on a regular basis lives. with regards to your fact "additionally, a pair of third of the international's inhabitants is Christian. seem at any stable source. this implies, shockingly, the different 4 billion all and sundry isn't"... I do discover this to line up in settlement with the bible (a stable source) scripture present in MATTHEW 7:13-14 13 enter ye in on the strait gate: for huge is the gate, and vast is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and a great form of THERE BE WHICH pass in thereat: [Hell] 14 via fact strait is the gate, and slender is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW THERE BE THAT discover IT. [Heaven] it fairly is hardly a accident... and have faith that the actual question is "WHAT in case you're incorrect?"

There is nothing I've read or heard of in other beliefs or in evolution that makes me believe that the Bible is wrong or that God is not the Creator of the whole universe and that Jesus is not my personal Savior. I guess we all stake our lives and the afterlife on that belief but I believe it's a solid faith. I hope you change your mind about going to hell...it's very real and is not a place I would wish on anyone for eternity...there's no changing your mind after you've been there. It's a place of never ending pain, sorrow and misery without a friend in sight. There's always time to see the light, repent of your sins and come to accept Jesus as your Savior....we should love Him because He first loved us enough to pay the price for our sins. After you die, it's too late.

I'm wrong a lot. But the fact of the matter is God, to be God, has never or will never be wrong. By accepting His free gift, I am a part of absolute truth.

As far as you going to hell.. Tell anyone who says that to read their Bible! and then you can tell them to politely shut up.
Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgement, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things. 3 But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.
If I am wrong..I know I am not. I drift off to nothing. So... I won't know will I? I feel so GOOD when I talk to God. I find peace and joy and love...HOW could that be WASTE? If there is nothing, at least I have found joy on Earth.

There is no other religion that I know of, except Islam, that states that I will be going to hell if I do not belong to that particular religion. So the odds are in my favor. And if it so happens that the atheists are right and there is nothing, I won't know. I feel pretty secure.

What If you are the one who is wrong! what would you do!
If I am wrong! then, I have to deal with it then. For now, I believe in what I believe, and that is what I know.
Edit:
ə-bŏm'ə-nā'shən,
Do you believe everything you hear! Just because someone said you are! it doeasn't mean you will.
Why would you think that you would end up in Hell.
Mocking is not answering. Muslims say that if you are not muslim, you will end up in hell. You and I. How come you don't ask them the same question!
Are you a bad person! if not! then hell is not your finial destination. It is as simple as that. According to my mother, I am going to hell. If so, look me up, and we will have tea. Just kidding. :-)

Thanks to Lady Phoenix for saying exactly what was on my mind, well T.D. Jakes said it but yeah, that's how I feel about it. And as for finding out it was the "wrong" god - There is only one and His name is I AM, God Almighty, Everlasting Father.
