Kyphosis is due to poor posture, slouching rather than sitting upright and so on. The problem being that the muscle that hold you upright, get weak as we do not use them and then fail to hold us in the correct posture. Its never too late, I am 49 have kyphosis and scoliosis went to Pilate's for nine long months, learned the exercises and now I am straighter and more aware of bad posture than every before. For me it was not a CURE, but it certainly has helped and delayed surgery, well I hope forever if I keep it up.

Its never to late to get something fixed or looked at. I would go to your regular doctor first. I have scoliosis and I went to a chiropractor and he told me he could fix it (even though there was no possible way he could) and I would have to come 4 times a week for a month. My insurance wasn't covered there either. I went and saw my regular doctor and he got me set up with the right people to get my back taken care of. I ended up having back surgery. So this is how I know that the chiropractor wouldn't have done any good.
