The other day someone asked a great question. "What good has the Theory of Evolution done?"

I shortly realised from reading the answers that apart from a number of advances in Medical Science, genetics and helping to understand climate change it hadn't really done much.

So lets see all the amazing gifts of creationist science.
I want links please.

Irreducible complexity proves that God made life. Also, information in DNA proves that God made life. The list goes on and on. Information does not arise from nothing. It is quite obvious that the information in DNA which in turn forms proteins to do a specific task has a driving force to make it work and stay alive and grow. What is that driving force? You do not know what drives these processes of life. The only logical explanation is an Intelligent Creator with more power to create than you or I. We create planes, space shuttles, sky scrapers, etc. and yet, you do not question when looking at it that it was created. You know immediatly when you look at it that it was created. The reason why you do not see that a cell was created because you are blind to God's handywork. You will not accept that as an answer even if it is the truth. Therefore, you would rather use the answer"I don't know?" instead. And you will search for an answer outside of the possiblity of God and you will never find the true answer because you have already denied the truth. I do not speak of you alone. I speak of all those who automatically rule out God as the explanation because they just don't like that answer. Or they have a problem with that answer. Or they will get laughed at because of that answer.

Gosh, you're so smart.

You aren't asking "what good has the theory of creationism done"?, which would be a direct parallel....you're asking us to "list all the amazing contributions Creationist Science has made to the world".

So conversely we should ask if you can list all the "amazing contributions" evolutionist science has made to the world.

You see, it's not about "evolutionary science" or "creation science", it's about SCIENCE. Period. What is true scientifically is true for ALL people.

The problem is that those who happen to personally believe in one thing or the other tend to ignore ANY indications that point in an opposite direction.

If you honestly think that the theory of evolution exclusively led to "a number of advances in Medical Science, genetics and helping to understand climate change" then you are one of those people who slant reality to fit your own personal agenda. In addition, if you accept those as "evolutionary science" advances simply because you were "reading the answers" to your question, how scientific does that make your conclusions?

Medical advances, like ALL others in the scientific world, are due to our finding out more and more about our world and the truths about it, not about evolution or creation. Science is necessarily objective, and therefore simple truth, although in too many cases (as in your slanted question) the chosen weapon for twisting objectivity.

Science has NOT proven evolution.

And now a word from some scientists:

""The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion on an intelligent and powerful Being." --Isaac Newton

""It is true, that a little philosophy inclineth man’s mind to atheism, but depth in philosophy bringeth men's minds about to religion; for while the mind of man looketh upon second causes scattered, it may sometimes rest in them, and go no further; but when it beholdeth the chain of them confederate, and linked together, it must needs fly to Providence and Deity." --- Sir Francis Bacon

"I want to know how God created this world, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details." --- Albert Einstein (not a Christian, but still knew there was a Creator)

"Education without religion is in danger of substituting wild theories for the simple commonsense rules of Christianity." --Samuel Morse

"Scientific concepts exist only in the minds of men.
Behind these concepts lies the reality which is being revealed to us, but only by the grace of God." --- Wernher Von Braun, first Director of NASA, pioneer of space exploration

there are people on Q/A who are very brilliant, I have read their answers.

I posted a question asking for someone to provide answers for why big bang should be trusted with it violates all of known physics.

No one answered apart from someone saying it was beneath him to answer. Then he insults my education without knowing what my education is.

sounds to be like those of you who reply here to snicker are not credible.

my question is simple. If physics says big bang did not occur, why do you still defend it. More to the point, how can you defend it.

creation science? your question, what has it contributed? look around you, your laws, your standards of conduct, your society in most places, your values, and what you take for granted, your worth as a human.

in other places human life means nothing....and if you honestly believe there is no God, then your life has no value. If I knew someone was an atheist who was murdered, it would not be possible to render a verdict on the one accused as who is to say this is not natures way of thinning the herd.

I hope you sleep well tonight.

creationist science has motivated many a scientist to better define their theories while providing the public with an easy access to higher levels - and smaller details - of evolutionary understanding.

without creation science, websites like
http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/
would not exist.
and i would be unable to answer creationist claims appropriately.

without creationist science, the flying spaghetti monster would not exist. and global warming would be happening even faster because scientists would not have discovered that pirates actually prevent global warming.

without creation science, scientists wouldn't have realized that the schools, classrooms, and science in general are under attack by creationists. now scientists are able to fight back with knowledge and understanding.

wow, creation science actually did a lot of beneficial social stuff. not on purpose, but most discoveries are accidental anyway.

There has been no science done that supports a creationalist theory (in terms of Biblical time lines).

However, there is lots of evidences concerning biblical floods, and Moses' plagues etc.

So whilst some of the myths have been somewhat researched and found in some cases to be observable, the general theory that God is a big magician whom magicked all of life up in 6 earth days has not found experimental support.

It helps Creationists feel less debased about thinking so archaically and superstitiously.

It offers another rationalization for irrational faith, thus reducing believers' cognitive dissonance.

It demonstrates what pseudoscience is, thus giving an example of how not to do real science.

There's that handy dandy Creation Museum where you can go and learn all about how the dinosaurs helped Adam and Eve adjust to life outside of the Garden of Eden....

For one thing it inspired me to want to get a degree in Creationism. I want to find out all about how Satan put the fake fossils in the ground. I think it had something to do with a wager between God and Satan.
They wanted to see who would be fooled by the fake fossils.

One of the greatest scientific contributions of Christianity is the most perfect calendar ever devised --- the "Gregorian Calendar", which is used EVERY DAY by the Western World.

It was devised by some of the most brilliant minds that the world has ever produced. It emanated from the Catholic Church.
