Only when they need it. I don't recommend bathing more than every 4-6 weeks.

I don't have to bathe my dogs because both Papillons and Siberian Huskies are naturally very clean dogs. Even when my Husky goes outside and gets muddy, the mud always dries up and just falls off her. The Papillon, however, has long fur so sometimes in dirty or wet environments he gets stuff stuck in his fur which will require an occasional light bath or just cleaning the effected area. Neither dog has a dog odor so this isn't an issue either.

You should never bath your dog, more then 4 times a year.
Bathing your dogs to often removes all the vitamins, minerals and other things on your dogs skin which protect him/her from bacterias ( so that he/she doesn't get sick often ). So bath your dog but not to often, bath him/her like once every 3 moths.

Once every two weeks - bathing a dog too much can dry out their skin; however, i've also noticed that if i bathe my dogs after 2 weeks they tend to be very itchy. they do not have fleas - they're on revolution and i check them everytime i bathe them, but because they stay outside the house during the day time, and like to hide inside the hedges to look for birds, it could be why they get itchy.

I have a inside dog and the vet told me he could have a bath twice a month but he really doesn't need it. i usually have him groomed once a month to once every 6 weeks. I do brush him every night and I use the doggy wipes every other day or two plus spray on conditioner once a week but he very rarely goes outside. He has never smelt bad , in fact he smells better then some people. We also brush his teeth so he doesn't even have bad breath.

When ever they get stinky and/or super dirty. We bath them about three or four times a year. We have Border Collies and Jack Russells and they stay pretty clean.

In the summer, usually twice a month. Or during showing, weekly ot every two weeks. Winter, monthly or every other month.
Depends on a lot of factors.
