I read a lot of rude, mean-spirited, and down-right evil things about atheists here. If you are truly a Christian, and follow the teachings of Jesus, why are you so judgemental towards the atheists? Jesus said, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." So, my question is, since so many stones are being cast, do you really think you are without sin? Do you put yourself above Jesus in this area? I welcome any answers.

For those who asked, I'm not an atheist. I have just read too many entries from Christians that want atheists to fall off the world, die a horrible death, etc. If these people are real christians, they would not say these things.

This is the best question i have read in ages. We should look at our actions and correct them first. If we are sinners then what good is to blame others. Bravo and oh, a shining Star for you!

I would invite you to look at all the posts..jot down subject and answers in columns of rude or kind.. You will find that so many, from all beliefs are rude, mean-spirited and evil. I am amazed at the intolerance and bigotry that exist in this day and age!
Catholics and Protestants are still at each other. I would say that the Jews and Muslims seem to be the most polite. The pagans and neo pagans seem 50 50 the last week. The Atheists are quite rude and judgemental. Calling ALL beliefs fairy tales, and all believers stupid, etc.
I would love to see just one day when we could explain our beliefs to others and not say one word against ANYONE else.

Since you are living in the world full of believers, you certainly took the pains to go through the Holy Bible, in design to understand this part (not the least) of your co-humans. So you certainly know Yehoshua ben Yusuf had said other things, too. Like he came not to change a letter of The Law (= Old Testament). You should be able to find out it is not proper to choose a sentence out of context just because it fits you. The Holy Bible is to be taken in its whole, just as Yehoshua had been taking it.

Probably because those that answer in a hateful way are the worst kind of "Christian".....an arrogant Christian. They're just hypocrites in the end and hopefully get everything they deserve for being such jerks.

im not. but alot of the things athiests say to us christians are extremely mean and evil too. it goes both ways. if people want to be athiests, thats ok. im not going to beat them over the head with the bible. i know some christians on here are very rude to the aethiest and try to convert them, and they shouldnt. but the aethiests shouldnt post horrible things in our questions and try to beat down our beliefs, when for the most part, we leave them alone. im not saying not to share your opinions, just dont be mean.

The question that begs answering is: Just why are you asking questions about something that you obviously don't believe? And, it is an admonition which does not apply to dispelling the errors of the unbelievers. And, could you be said to be sinning if you don't believe in God? Are you invincibly ignorant? That's not for me to decide --- if you follow what I mean. In other words, I'm not your judge, and you're not mine.
