you could pin them up into a little beehive-quiff folding them back on themselves and giving them a bit of height. this would be trendy right now as amy winehouse's beehive was the most asked for hairstyle in salons.

Try using two bobby pins instead of one. Pin your bangs with one bobby pin like usual, then place the second pin crossing perpendicular (at a 90 degree angle) around the first. This will hold the first pin in place.

Maybe try spraying your hair with a little hairspray first. When my hair is freshly washed & clean it's hard to pin up.
And I 'd love to know the origin of the word bangs as we call it a fringe in England.
Amy Winehouse wears a wig, lol.

Same problem for me too hun
I'm putting mine up in a quiff at the mo, backcomb the back to give a bit of height make sure the front is smooth, i section mine off in 2 parts. and when you come to pin it criss cross the grips over so they form a 'X' shape. they hold so much better like this. oh and hairspray or gel to keep in place.
hope this helps

Part your hair down the middle and pull each side back with hair clips or pins and they do have the ones that are decorated pins and combs.

In England we call it a fringe, you could use a hair band until they grow long enough to pin

Have a star for posting a link explaining what bangs are. I didn't know either.

Well thank God for those thin hair bands now! lol. Put it back in a hairband, put your hair in a cute high ponytail. Put in some diamond studs...or something equally trendy, and you have instant runway.

I'm guessing that you mean a fringe. I'm growing my daughters out at the mo. i comb her fringe back in to a section, twist it , pull it back and secure with cute hair clips. Looks really nice but she is 4!!
