Thk u my dear, loving sisters for the words of encouragement.I do keep close to heart, seeing him again soon, in the resurrection.The story has hit the major papers in S.Fla., including Ft.Myers & Miami. I put in a few blogs, & did mention seeing him again, in the Resurrection. A homicide Det. gave me some sites, I got to see the man's booking pic., in 1 of the pix u can 'see' the "not yet all the way healed" wound, where my bro shot him in the neck.If it weren't 4 my bro shooting him, & him bleeding in the house~DNA, this crime may have never been solved.My bro was Not perfect-none of us r.But, he sure didn't deserve to b Murdered.I call him my bro, although we share no DNA, the friendship, trust, loyalty, was Fully operational in our relationship.We adopted each other, over 20 yrs, ago.I spoke & read @ his services. I privately read all of 1 Cor 15,then was joined by 2 the the younger members of our famliies.Then publicly, I read more, but, specifcally 1 Thess 4:13,14. Continued.

At his graveside, the man officiating used the Scriptures that I had used. Last nite, the memory popped in my head, what was posted here @ Y/A's about "A Witness running circles around a Christian," There it is, in action, I thought. Praise Jah! 1 of my younger sister's complimented me, on my abilities @ funerals, I told her "it's bc of what I have learned regarding death & the resurrection from Jehovah." I know it's a possibility that the trial could go on for yrs. Or the man could plead guilty, & it'll b over as quick as it starts; so to speak.I know Jehovah is a God that requires justice b served, I put my trust in Him. Again, sisters, thank you so much for all the love.

Hello my sister,
My heart goes out to you. I don't know what you can expect in court except perhaps, as one responder mentioned, it could be quite some time before the case actually comes to trial. While you are waiting, and even when the trial does come up, keep the scriptural thoughts from our Watchtower lesson from last Sunday and tomorrow in mind. Our God is a God of justice, but we live in Satan's system and justice is not always forthcoming or done speedily. Whatever happens, take comfort in the fact that ultimately, Jehovah will see that justice is done and will undo all of the damage caused by Satan and his wicked world.

Well, I live and work in Florida... I can tell you that this could take a very long time to get to court.

Following arraignment they plea not guilty and waive speedy trial while the pukes lawyer puts together a case. It could take months or even over a year to go to trial.

Florida is a public records state and all court dockets and information are covered by the Sunshine Laws. You can go to your county Clerk Of Court web-site and track the case. You can go to your local Sheriff Office web site and look at the booking information.

You should also check with you counties State Attorney's Office web site and look for a link to the 'Victims Assistant'. They will answer every question you have and keep you completely up to date daily on the status of the case. They are very useful and I used their services all the time when I was a homicide detective.

If you want to email me what county you are in.. and who the defendant is... I will get you links, addresses and phone numbers and email them back.

Last, but not least... I am sooooo very sorry to hear about your brother. I hope this defendant gets what he deserves.

My dear sister;
This explains so much from our conversation yesterday; I can't imagine a worse reason to feel so sad. I can't help you with your question, but I can tell you , you deserve someone to fuss over you, sit with you, and watch you while you cry. I will be asking Jehovah in my next prayer to keep me mindful of all the extraordinary people out there, with all their plates so loaded down with everything so burdensome, in this time of the end, and remember to never take a single positive comment or smile for granted.
That we can endure, that we can be pushed from every side , but not with "no way out", these are the gifts we give ourselves, and Jehovah blesses those that rely on him with the peace of mind that excels every thought...we do have a hope for the future, your response to that question resonates with me, now, and no one can blame anyone for living for that,under circumstances like these.
In the love of Christ, Agape, and sincere concern,
your sister,
Heather B.

First, I just want to say how sorry I am for you, but the new system will be here soon and you will see your brother again.
You are in my prayers. My eldest brother has an Identifax office in Tallahassee and he may be of some help to you. Hopefully the prosecutions case is strong and the trial is quick.

I sat on a jury for a murder trail. They will have opening satements, from both sides, then the prosecutor will give the evidnece and go through the witnesses, then the defender will do the same. Depending on the evidence it can and usually is very upsetting to family mambers. Good Luck, and God Bless
