well, first muslim men are only allowed to marry christian or jewish. (people who believe in God).
So there is no problem at all for his wife to keep her religion but they should get everything arranged befor they get married or have children.

Muslim women ,on the other hand ,must only marry Muslim men.
If the woman is of Ahl al Kitab,the People of the Scripture,that is, Jewish or Christian,she need not change by conforming to Islam
Those who convert fron Islam to another religion are often murdered or "executed" for the crime of apostasy" which Christians and Zoroastrians and even Japanese Shinotists used to do too but no longer as they find murdering people for apostasy to be wrong and barbaric nowadays.

If a woman is a Christian or a Jew then she is not required to convert. Muslim are allowed to Marry them without conversion as they belong to a Religion who also have the book of God given to Moses and Jesus Christ (peace be upon them)

In Islam christians and Jews are called "People of scripture" For Muslim man to marry non muslim woman, if woman is among people of scripture (Jews and christians) there is no need for conversion. Otherwise conversion is a must.

No not necessarily but the children who are created upon two will automatically become muslims. Its preferred the women do convert .

depends on what country tou live in....if you DO decide to convert, make sure you're not in a Sharia (sp?) governed country.
