okay so-
(this really isnt that long)
me and one of my guy friends are really close. we do lots of stuff together. well i know for a fact he still likes his ex-girlfriend and i think she still likes him too. well for the past 3 months everytime i go over to his house we will always flirt alot. and during this time period he has kissed me repeatedly on the cheek multiple times and almost kissed me for real but his 12 year old brother walked in. (the 12yr old is in like love with me) but then he goes around and starts to really like his ex again. then when ever i come back to see him he will act like he really likes me. im really confused if he is just using me or if he likes me or what. and i do like him but i dont want to if that makes sense...
i have no idea please help me
P.S.- im 13 and he is 14

Give him some distance so he's forced to choose.
If you stop hanging out and he calls you then talk to him. Wait till he invites you to go anywhere and don't be afraid to turn him down sometimes. If he doesn't pursue or call you on his own then he doesn't REALLY want you.
You have to make him think about you and 'want' for you the way he's doing with his ex-girlfriend. I bet you she doesn't hang out with him all the time and stuff...
Guys are weird; they sometimes go for the ones that don't want them or don't spend time with them.

Your too young to be putting yourself through this mess like all the girls do at your age. Guys like having as many girlfriends as they can. First the nature of the beast. They very horn*y all the time. All the time. Watch out1 You know if he could get back with the old gal he would. Who is to say they might have done it and he needs it again. Back off and be safe. Your find a good guy your see!

He is playing both ends aganist the middle. Meaning he is using you whenever his girlfriend isn't around. I would not let him hug or kiss(even on the cheek) unless he didn't have a girl friend. Just be friends, until he makes up his mind, but don't wait to long for him to make up his mind, after all your 13 and getting older every day.

I think if your that close to him then its probably time to ask him if he has feelings for you or still likes his ex. Tell him your confused and if you really like him go for it. It sounds like you like him but are afraid to get close to him beacause he may like his ex. Just ask and see what he says then go from there. If he says he still likes his ex then theres nothing you can do about it but at least you asked so now you know the truth and you wont get hurt if they get back together. It doesn't sound like he's pretending to like you, it sounds like he's confused because he likes you but still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend. This time of age is really confusing for teens to put their feelings in order. You shouldn't do but be you. It will sort itself out. He just needs some time to realise what's important to him and what he wants.

u have to ask him what he really thinks and wants. u r too young to have to keep worrying if he likes u or if he's still hung up on his ex. if he really is a good friend, he'll answer u honestly and u can decide what u wanna do. if he is still hung up o his ex, u know that u have to move on.

i think he can't make up his mind. if you like him then next time you go over to his house be the first to kiss him. once on each cheek then in between ;). see how he reacts. tell me if you need any more help after that.

My guess is that he is nervous about kissing you....he may be lying about the ex and is not quite ready for a proper kiss...give him time and just be friends.

i know ths may not be what u want to hear but girls mature faster than boys soo he sounds confused ..... if i were u i would be hard to get tell him not to kiss u as much as it will hurt to tell him no explain that your not his play toy and he will learn to respect you ....... as long as he knows that youll always be there on the side he will never take you serious tell him its black or white no in between ....
