upon successful completion of school, and after you report to your PDS, yes, yo go to disbursing and request it. expect 28% taken off the top for taxes, and depending on how large the bonus is, only half and the remainder in equal installments over the next few years.

I was talking with a MEPS Sgt/Mjr., just yesterday and asked the same question. He indicated that enlistment bonuses are not paid before the completion of MOS school.

That being said, you can hope to get your bonus before Christmas. Don't spend it all in one place !

I've been out of MOS school for a year now and I'm still waiting for my bonus. Everytime I talk to admin, they said there was a mistake and they tell me they will fix it and I will have my bonus next month. Of course, my recruiter told me that I would get my bonus as soon as I get out of boot camp. But that was over a year ago and still no bonus. So your guess is good as mine.

Who takes care of pay records for the Marines?
Make appointment with Storekeeper and get it straight.
Why does it strike me odd that Marine would come to YA with simple administrative question?
