god's the biggest egomaniac this world has ever seen. He constantly wants praise and acceptance.Apparently, we are his children, yet the love is conditional. There are constant promises of hell and suffering. Total disregard for lives of his "children", inaction - sounds like a bad parent. My question is - how can some of you still prey on this ****?

i mean every religion, using Christianity as example, ok? The only argument you can provide is a bunch of fanatic mumbo-jumbo. My opinion is educated, i have read and studied the bible and find it nothing more than a fairy tale

Yeah well Jesus wants praise too. When you get to heaven you will have to praise him nonstop, and there won't be any toilet breaks either.
As for the other points of your question, do you really give a holy crap?

Hi guys ! I'm not a christian . But I heard that once Jesus himself told the disciples , " Why are you always interested in telling 'Jesus Jesus ' . Do something good to others ."...like that.
What is meant by 'praise the Lord '? By mere words ? No.
Atheist curses the Thirst .
A Theist thanks the Water.
Atheist curses the life.
A Theist enjoys the Salvation.
Only a space makes the difference and the space is FAITH , the so called positive approach . That faith makes one to enjoy the creations and thank the creator .
This thankful feeling is known as ' Praising the Lord ' .No need to worry about the ' toilet break ' worries.

Obviously you don't know God. My God is gently & easy to receive. He loves to sit in the praises of His people. He rejoices over us in song & praises. I am a child of the living God through faith in Jesus Christ my Lord. And that means that I am born of God, born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint heirs with King Jesus & part of the family of God. God loves us unconditionally. Yet He hates our sins because our sins separate us from God. So He sent Jesus, His Son to be a propitition for us, washing away our sins. God knows when even a sparrow hits the ground, & how much more valuable are His children in this world.
Read the http://www.fathersloveletter.com . to realize that you are describing a different god than the LORD God of the Holy Bible.

You are incorrect.
God is not an egomaniac. The love is UNCONDTIONAL.
There are only promises of Heaven and eternal life.
There is total regard and concern for His children.
PEOPLE are the ones who show disregard.
You, for example, are showing a lack of respect for others' beliefs.
You are showing a lack of tolerance for other beliefs.
How can you be the way that you are? How can you be so prejudiced?

I personally long ago realized the distinction between religion & faith.
The Bible has it's points but it may not be for you.
Maybe you can start by getting rid of the religion part and focus on the faith part.

The simple answer to why people are religious is that they want to be. It gives them something they feel they need. People create the gods they want to believe in and disregard those bits of scriptures they don't like.

Don't group the rest of us in with the fundies. My religion has few, if any, strict dogmas. And if I don't follow them, I'm not going to suffer for all eternity. I don't believe in that sort of spiritual blackmail. I don't brown-nose my deities, and I don't want you to either. I'm fine with other people not being of my religion.

We are not God's children but creature. He is creater and master of all of us.
All your arguments are valid for only chrsitianity, you can't just blame all other religions for inconsistency in christianity.
