My teacher is from there and he never uses these terms. Is it just because he dislikes me?

If so, he's a d#$k and I'm going to be more rude to him than he is to me.

I always say 'thanks' for his help and he never responds. He may be upset that he puts me to sleep in class (I yawn a lot) and that I'm always looking at the clock.

we say thank you all the time but don't tend to use your welcome much.

no,we prefer merci beaucoup or wielen dank (sorry if you're french or german for my spelling?)Why should he thank you? You're the one who is taking from him
