When i was wacthing it the picture would flicker, freeze, and then just stop what is the problem here???

Do you need to use DVD+R etc or something else i'am currently using DVD-R or is it a certain file like Xvid, AVI because there the two files that most of my downloads are.

Xvid files are DivX files.
DivX has a built in file burner.

What were you trying to play it on?
Was it compatible with that type of file?
Was the file playable before you burned it?

Did you watch the movie first before you burned it? If not, then it could be a bad encode. If so, and it ran fine on the PC, then either Nero burned incorrectly or the disc is bad. If you used the Nero video burning option, that could do it as well. Best bet is to do a Data DVD and burn it directly. Otherwise I'm not sure as I've never personally encountered this problem with any video format I've burned.
