I heard that some foods produce hormones in the body that hold on to belly fat and makes it extremely hard to get abs and lose that belly fat. I don't exactly know those foods, do you know. I want to lose this belly fat. I'm not fat but I do have a small round disgusting belly fat that is blocking me from getting abs. What should I do? I ran everyday this week except for yesterday. What should I eat, what should I do?

Great question. Yes thier is kinds of foods like that. That's why thiers something called L-Carnitine. L-Carnitine, is 100% natural and everyone should be taking it every day (I take it almost everday,You can buy it at hendries, sprouts... grosery stores). It would use the body fat as energy. But heres more info about it.

L-carnitine occurs naturally in animal products. Generally, only very small amounts of it are found in plants, with few exceptions, such as avocado and some fermented soy products, e.g. tempeh. L-carnitine is a chiral molecule. Its stereoisomer D-carnitine does not have the biological activity of L-carnitine and may even antagonize L-carnitine in its biological roles.

L-carnitine is synthesized in the human body, chiefly in the liver and kidneys, from the essential amino acids L-lysine and L-methionine. Niacin, vitamins B6 and C, and iron are involved in its biosynthesis. L-carnitine is described as a conditionally essential nutrient. This refers to certain conditions where exogenous L-carnitine may be required, such as in long-term parenteral nutrition, those on valproic acid therapy and possibly for the elderly.

L-carnitine is available in a few forms. Oral L-carnitine is available as a nutritional supplement and as a prescribed orphan drug treatment for primary and secondary L-carnitine deficiencies. Intravenous L-carnitine (levocarnitine) is available as a prescription orphan drug for the treatment of primary and secondary L-carnitine deficiencies. Acetyl-L-carnitine, another delivery form of both L-carnitine and acetyl groups, is available as a nutritional supplement. Another delivery form of L-carnitine, proprionyl-L-carnitine, is available in Europe but not at present in the U.S.

stay away from any sugar food for one month. No sugar on coffee or tea. It's the damn sugar that really does the job on our belly's. Eat lots of good food. Exercise a lot. Fat burner such as Hoodia or Allii are very good. Only in the beginning do this when your staying home. It really does eat fat. It needs to come out of your body. Once the body is used too the program the body will be find. It will stop doing this embarrassing thing running to the bathroom and not making it. So good luck!

Cut your calorie intake to 1200 a day. That combined with a 30 to 40 run everyday will have you losing body fat at about 2 to 3 pounds a week in a healthy way without sacrificing too much lean tissue but still letting you lose the fat...good luck!

this is more true for women than for men. stress or eating the wrong foods cause the production of cortisol, which causes the retention of belly fat. this site deals primarily with this problem, the forming of omentum. or you can read their book.
