If you know of another god that might be real, want to tell me about it?

I studied the Bible a long time, and have been learning it thoroughly, and still am; and eventually I realized the Bible god is fake.

But if you know of another god that might be real, tell me about it. In other words -- if I'm willing to listen, you can't call me an atheist.

The god of the Bible seems a pretty limited one . . . try approaching it from an Eastern perspective. Read the Dao de King (Tao te Ching), some of the Upanishads, and maybe get started on some Buddhist studies. The god you are looking for if it exists at all, is something that has to be felt and experienced and not dissected with logic. If it exists anywhere, you can find it inside of you somewhere, not a stern ruler, but the ground of all being to use Tillich's phrase. This may or may not work for you, but it may give you a fresh perspective on things which may be of use to you.

I read that you are looking for another God, other than the God of the Bible. In order to qualify as God one has to meet three criteria: One must be omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. The God, Elohim, that made heaven and earth eminently qualifies on all three points. All of the other gods, that you may be seeking, cannot qualify on any of the aforementioned points. They are what you would call territorial spirits but in no way can they be considered gods. The connotation of God carries with it the position of being pre-emminetly superior to all and there is the implication of singularity.

The real God had no beginning and no ending. Hebrews 8:13 says that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. So you see these territorial spirits are fakes, fallen angels or impersonating spirits - whatever you want to call them.

There is only one God, and the God of the Bible is that God. It is a good thing that you have studied the Bible diligently, but you are overlooking one thing. You cannot arrive at this desicion totally through logic, for human logic has its limits. Man has his limits and his rational faculties have their limits. Man's logic is only as fallible as he is. Study will not necessarily reveal God to you. The trinune God of the Bible must be a personal experience known by you. It is the intuitive knowledge given to you by the Holy Spirit.

Please do not give up on the revelation of who He exactly is?
When I was very young, I heard many people talk about God, but I did not experience His presence at the time. It was not until I was in my early 20's that I felt his presence for the first time very strongly. Of all places, this was in a medium's meeting place in a hall. It was God warning me of the dangers of mediums. At the same time, most of his members did not turn up, I believe because of God protective presence discouraged it.

Pray constantly and ask God to reveal Himself for I feel the presence of God constantly. This is the same God that created the Heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1:1). This is the Same God that created a 48 hour day in Joshua 10 by stopping the sun from going down. This is the same God in Exodus 14 the parted the Red Sea. That is the God that I have been experiencing. One day I asked him what is my purpose? He told me in a dream that: " I have placed you upon this earth to do my work."

I do not think that you are an atheist. But you want to know who is the real God . Remember the 10 plagues that were recorded in the book of Exodus. Each plague went against a different Egyptian god that represented the nile, the sun, the frogs, gnats, flies, boils and darkness etc. By Doing this the God of the Bible, Jehovah Elohim, proved Himself to the Israelites as well as the Egyptians that He was the infinitely superior God of the universe.
The fact that these counterfeit gods had to be created disqualifies them from Godship.

To prove this, there is a document called the "Ipuwer Papyrus," it describes the river being blood; the plague of hail; the death of the first born and the sun being darkened. if you are serious please look this up and prove it for youself.

Jesus who is co-eternal with the Father became God in the flesh.
He died for your sins and by his blood you are cleansed of all unrighteousness. He wants you to be with him in heaven. If you accept in your heart His atonement today, you are saved instantly. However, manifest the works in Galatians 5: 22 as evidence of your salvation.

That doesn't make you not an atheist. I've been willing to listen my entire life and still am if someone has something new to add however I still am not a theist.

That's like saying being willing to listen to someone about meat makes you not a vegetarian.

The God in some people's minds is very real - to them.

But none of the Gods from ancient times up till now are real.

Here's a list of Gods & Goddesses. None of them are real although many people worshipped them throughout history.

There is one and only God who created the entire world. . Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammad and all past Messengers worshipped this God. Jews called themselves Children of God in spiritual sense and refered to God as Father. So Jesus being Jew also refered God as Father. Since Jesus was born to Virgin Mary with a miracle of God, without any man ever touched her, Christians started believing that Jesus is son of God. According to Bible Jesus did worship God whom he called Father, Christians calling him God also. There can not be more than one God of universe. Only who created it is the God. Many religions have different names for the same God. American red Indians called Him High Spirit, Hindus call Him Eishwar and Muslims call Him Allah. This name Allah is more appropriate because it means
Al = The one, La= None. Which means the One who has none like Him. .

During the time when Prophet Mohammad was in Madina, Yemen was a Christian country. A delegation of Christian leaders came to Madina to discuss with Mohammad to find out if he is reall Prophet or not. They were trying to convince Mohammad that Jesus is God and Mohammad kept saying that we Mushlims worship the same God whom Jesus, Moses and Abraham worshiped and there is no any other God. Discussions wasn't going any where. Third day God sent Angel Gabriel and revealed this Surah (a chapter of Quran) Which means

"Say: He is Allah, The one and only
Allah, The Eternal, Absolute
He begetteth not, Nor is He begotten,
And there is none Like unto Him."

Allah's this message negates the belief that Jesus is son of God. Christians did not accept this message of God and kept arguing that Jesus is son of God. Finally Mohammad Said to them, " tomorrow I will bring all members of my family and will say to God in your presence that If am lying, O God, kill me and all my family members right here instantly. He suggested to Christians that you also bring your family members with you and Say to God, that if you lie, God may kill you and all your family members. They said all right and left. They discussed amongst themselves on it and one of them said, if Mohammad is a real Prophet of God and is telling the truth, God may kill all of us. So they changed their mind. Instead of showing up with their families they just started travelling towards Yemen early next morning. This is historical fact written in history books. It is true that Jesus prophesized that there will be fake Prophets after he will be gone. And many fake Prophets did claim to be Prophet. Mohammad SAW also prophesized the same and some Arabs did claim to be Prophet in Arabia also after Mohammad died. So Christians accuse Mohammad being a fake Prophet. It is a historical fact that followers of fake Prophets never grew more than few thousand an then their followers slowly vanished or they remain a small cult for some time. No any fake Prophet ever was able to create a successful civilization on ies and fake religion like Islam established itself during the times when Christian world of Europe was in dark ages. It is not possible that a fake Prophet could have 1-1/4 billion followers and still their number growing. Christians and followers of all other religions keep converting as Muslims in this century when people are well educated and they have all means to verify whether a Prophet is reall or fake. The Quran itself is a miracle of God that will always be here until the end of this world unchanged and in its original text as was revealed to Prophet by God.
