If the fruit gave us unfastened-will, what replaced into it that allowed Eve to freely % to eat it interior the 1st place? once you tell a three 365 days previous to not touch some thing, what's the 1st element he's going to do? From what the Bible says, Adam wasn't even that previous... If those varieties of ideals weren't so tragic, they had be certainly hilarious. i'm only happy that my actual father isn't the type who might burn me alive only because of the fact i replaced into curious adequate to the touch the fire. i'm additionally happy he's not any the type to hold the grudge onto my very very own little ones. according to threat i'm incorrect, yet that may not what i replaced into taught approximately love. interest and the will for organic know-how isn't a curse from devil or God. it somewhat is a blessing to humanity.

Eating fruit was NOT the problem. Disobeying Jehovah was. He gave them only one law. This one tree, don't eat it. Eat any of the hundreds of other trees to their heart's content, just not this one tree. It was to demonstrate God's authority to rule over them as their Creator and Ruler.
It is not like He did not tell them the consequences for disobeying. What was He to do? Just kidding?
As for labor pains, as Eve had till then never had children, we have no idea if labor pains are not normal part of child birth with perfect humans. Someone once described child birth as passing a football through a hole the size of a golf ball. How can this not be painful? But, we have no idea how a perfect body would perform in this situation.

It's not about eating the fruit. It's about the nature of the relationship. Eating the fruit was turning away from trusting God and having relationship with him. Death is what happens when we leave our relationship with God just as a fish who leaves the water will die. If your children said they didn't need you in there life anymore and walked out of your life. You would still love them and make sure they could come back if they ever choose (Hence why God made a way though Jesus for us to return to him). But even though you would seek to restore the relationship they would still have to deal with all the bad things of the world till they were willing to return home. Unless you hog tied them and locked them in their room but then they would just resent you for it. It's kinda of like that.

Adam & Eve were in paradise. They were prohibited from only 1 thing and they chose to disobey God. Also, a distinction that many people fail to recognize is that God Himself did not speak to Eve about the Tree of Knowledge. Adam was given this directive before Eve was created and it was Adam's responsibility to explain the importance of this to Eve. Not only did he fail in this regard, he also chose to eat of the fruit with Eve. We were given free will because God wants us to love Him and obey Him by our own choice. The results of their disobedience are not too harsh.

It was the knowledge that Adam and Eve gained (the fruit is symbolic of the knowledge between good and evil) they could no longer reside in paradise as we call it. There is no knowledge of evil there only good. Also they did disobey its different for those who disobey on the other side we don't know it here. God never stopped loving us.

Old-time religion has always frowned upon enquiry, curiosity, and questioning. So the parable of Adam and Eve is perfect to serve as a warning to the faithful not to question religion or the authority of religious leaders. It's quite cute really, but of course such thinking has harmed humanity and kept it back.

The same being that gave us the curse of death for eating an apple also used death to give us the possibility of eternal life. God loves us with the same unfailing love (although ministers would like to convince us otherwise) as you love your grown children but that doesn't mean that he has to condone our stupidities. In the same way you can love your children without condoning their stupidities.

it wasnt just a simple fruit like an apple. it was fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
God intended them to have and experience all good things. all in the garden was good, and they were allowed to eat from and enjoy all that was strictly good.
God did a good thing by telling them not to eat something that was so poisonous that they would die.
the death was spiritual first, then led to physical death. in spiritual death is the curse of all forms of evil.
God reserved for Himself to tell them about all evil, so they would have knowledge of it yet not experience it.
yet they were lied to, giving them the idea that God wanted to keep all good to Himself and not let them experience it.. and so they were enticed and thus experienced all evil for themself.
it was like the opening of "the pandora's box." .. the promise of all things good, but full of evil.
but then God set up an umbrella of shelter from evil through a covenant. but it had its limitations, so He sent His Son to deal with the sin problem. and by His death suffered for all, be the champion of freedom for all.
so now through Christ and the new covenant, there is death, but it has no sting. with an afterlife in heaven.
there is sin but it has no condemnation but forgiveness and cleansing from all unrighteousness.
there is labor in childbirth but it has no great pain.
and other blessings in God's kingdom. to all of those who subscribe to it.. for them, all of the curse has been removed.
the entrance into this freedom is based on making a choice by an act of the will, to believe and accept the offer that is given - the only way of freedom from 'pandora's box'.

no. they were warned fairly & had a choice. there is a difference between you being mom & Him being Almighty God. they saw the face of God & all His glory, & still chose to disobey the one & only no-no.
He also has given us the choice between death & eternal life, despite our sinful natures. I think this is more than fair! there are consequences, just like when our kids do wrong.

Disobeying caused separation from God as nothing sinful can live in his presence. God is the light and without light there is no life but pain, death and desolation.
