All-American Apple Pie

In addition to all the others mentioned here, I REALLY like a) apple crumb, b) apple raspberry !!!, c) lemon meringue or even better yet, REAL key lime pie, d) fruits of the forest w/ apple pie (It's like a tart mixed berry w/ apple pie). My favorite of all time has to be strawberry rhubarb, however. If you're ever in MA, go to Smolak Farms in North Andover. Pretty place, Best pie in New England that I've found so far...not cheap, but the best!
Also, to the Guru: Could we pls. have a recipe for this so we can try it too? Won't be getting to Kentucky any time soon....
