yes... they shed less if you brush them often and groom them :)

Yes, they shed, but if you keep up with brushing you'll have less of a problem. A Beagle be a great companion for your 13 year old, they are wonderful dogs. All the best;^)

Very little compared to other dogs because of their short coat. I suffer from allergies and this was one of the breeds our vet recommended that I get. We groom our beagle regularly and have never had problems with shedding.

beagles shed horribly! you have to keep after them with a brush..preferably the shed ender that brushes off the undercoat so it doesn't shed off. don't be fooled into thinking a dog wont shed because t has short hair, some short haired dogs are the worst shedders around.

Yes, all dogs shed, even poodles. Some dogs just shed more than others.

Yes but the fur is short so its not as noticeable. All mammals but dolphins shed. Even humans.

all dogs shed. . some dogs shed more than others if you brush it on a regular basis then u shouldnt notice it

all dogs shed,...you just don't really notice the dogs that have the short hair doing it as much. Just have to brush.
