Wow, my household is nuts, we have a basket of condiments we lug to the table for every meal! Black pepper in a pepper mill, salt, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, Cayenne pepper, and hot sauce. You never know when you want to go a little crazy!!!

I'm like you. I only use it when cooking, not on the table. The only exception would be for scrambled eggs. The condiments I use all the time are: mayo, ketchup, steak sauce, parmesan cheese. We don't keep salt out, usually just put in enough while cooking the food to suit our taste.

I have ground pepper, a pepper grinder for course pepper, kosher and sea salt, 3 types of hot sauce including habanero, and garlic powder on my table at all times.

I love fresh ground pepper. It's always in a little bowl on my stove. I broke my peppermill, so I grind up black, white, pink, and green peppercorns in an old coffee grinder. I love the flavor.

We use pepper all the time and I leave it out on the table. That is a common spice. I also use a lot of garlic but I don't leave that out. -
