My son's school is having a bake sale run by the kids in his class. They're raising money for charity. Anyway, the bake sale will be attended by other kids from preschool up through junior high. I'm afraid a lot of people will be doing the standard chocolate chip cookies and brownies, so I want to stay away from those. What else has mass kid appeal? Thanks!

Oh yes, I have a really good one that the kids will love.
What you do is get a cake mix, any kind, and you follow the recipe for cupcakes. But instead of putting the cupcakes in regular boring paper cups, pour the batter into those flat-bottom cake cones. The multi-color ones are the best. Bake the cupcakes in the cones at the temperature recommended on the cake mix box. Cool. Then you can decorate them all kinds of ways. They look like ice cream cones, but they are cupcakes.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNGNt

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Kids love Rice Crispie Treats.

RICE CRISPIE TREATS

1/2 cube butter
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups rice crispies

Heat and melt the butter. Add the marshmallow creme and stir until the butter is incorporated into the creme. Take off the burner, add the vanilla, stir, and pour over the rice crispies. Stir well, pour into a cake pan lined with foil, spread to make even. When it has set, cut it into cubes and remove from the pan.

Easy recipe I loved as a kid.... Cool Whip Cookies!

1 box cake mix (flavored: orange, strawberry, lemon, spice)
1 tub Cool Whip (regular size, not the huge one)
1 egg
Powdered Sugar

Mix: cake mix, cool whip, egg.
Use spoons to drop balls of batter (will be very sticky) into powdered sugar, roll into balls.
Bake 325* for 8 minutes... the balls will spread out and the powdered sugar will make it look "marbled". They are very soft and chewy.

I don't know any kid that hasn't liked them. It's also fun to make with your kids. I always helped my mom.
