Think of it as English in the United States. When you are in New York people speak really fast and have a certain rythm to their language. Now if you go to Texas, the people there speak slower and with a twang. Just as the English spoken in England is different than the English in the US and Australia. In Spanish speaking countries there will be those differences, too. People in Mexico have a different accent than people in Spain, Dominican Republic, Peru, etc. And in those countries themselves the accents, lingo, slang, vary from region to region.

each has their own "slang", and we just happen to use the slang language a lot, because normally you would have a nonformal conversation with any of them. also they both have different accents, to the mexicans, dominicans have an accent that make them sound kinda gay, to the dominicans they think mexicans have an accent that make them sound like they trying too hard to sound like a man, its all in each cultures lol
