I like this girl at school a lot. And i finally work enough confidence up to ask her out, but guess what she already has a boyfriend. Is it okay to want her to break up with him, just for me to get a chance, not to mention they haven't kissed in the two years they've been dating, so does their relationship really mean anything?

Oh and also we're kind of friends and seem to have a lot in common.

You can't force the relationship, and if you do anything to try to break up the relationship, she will only resent you. It's okay if she hasn't kissed him. It sounds like you all are very young. Just keep your ear to the ground to find out how her relationship is going. When it's over you can jump in.

It's okay to want them to break up, but don't do anything to encourage it. This guy at school who likes me actually said that he wishes that my boyfriend were dead. So wanting them to break up is no big deal. Just because they haven't been physical doesn't mean anything. Sure...it's really weird, but it means that if they're still together, they are very close emotionally.

Well, if she has a boyfriend then I would wait for them to break up. The worst thing you can do is pressure her into breaking up with him. It's not wrong for you to want them to, but if you try to convince her she'll just turn against you.

Its ok to want her to break up with him, but you shouldn't ask her to. That's kind of butting in. you could definatly drop hints if you are close enough friends, but other than that, don't talk about it too much.

She is off limits dude...Don't be the cause of their break up...Stay out of it and mind your own business.
