Yes!!! Why would God dramatize anything? There would be no benefit to it at all. By believing in the Bible 100% it takes true faith in God. Without faith in God it would be very hard to believe what the Bible says 100%.

From a neutral, non-biased basis, the answer would be no.

Men wrote the bible, not god (ever try playing the game Telephone?).

Men translated the bible from one language to the next.

Even if you accept that god is real and directed man to write the bible, you will have translation issues.

But as you know, it comes down to faith. Either you believe in god and the bible or you don't.

There is truth as in historical or scientific fact. The Bible is NOT very good in these areas, but then it was never intended to be.

There is the truth that exists in the eye of the beholder that may or may not be true in the historical or scientific sense. The Bible has many of these viewpoints, especially regarding the nature of God in the Old Testament. Most people with IQ's higher than that of a begonia know this and do not attempt to prove or disprove the nature of God with these viewpoints. Especially as these viewpoints are colored by their possessors' fairly limited knowledge of much of anything.

There is also a higher truth concerning man, the human condition and God. On that level Scripture is inerrant.

The New Testament probably isn't 100% true, nor is the Old Testament, the Quran, or any religious text, but this is irrelevant. Believe what makes sense to you.

My answer to your question is yes. Yet, I believe that to be able to make such a statement one must be able to discern which bible translation, and there are many, is the infallible Word of God.

How can this be done?

When a man is born again, Christ comes and lives in that man. And Christ will reveal the things of God through the unction of the Holy Spirit.

Yet, so many claim they are doing this very thing, but yet they will say and do things that are contrary to the Word of God and they will not understand that there is only one God, one faith, one Word of God. If they distort the truth of God's Word by adding or taking away from it, then how is there way the right way.

I have heard many so called believers, christians, say it does not matter which bible you use. That God can be found in all of them. Yet, that very statement is contrary to the Word of God.

The bible is not a multiple choice selection where one picks the one that best suit him. There is only one true word of God.

Jesus said, his flock will know and hear his voice. It is written that Jesus is the Word of God. So those who know Jesus, will know his Word.

no. I believe it is 100% true. However, truth is not nessessarily a litteral truth. There are many parables, and symbolic phrases used in the Bible which get lost in translation. You have to try to understand the way people who wrote the Bible thought to understand all the subtle details.

No, its not 100% litteral truth.
Yes, it is 100% true.

Yes. It has been proven over and over again by those who sought out to disprove it. I don't know why it is so hard for people to accept it and be done with it. At least if someone is reading to disprove it, they are at least reading it and we all know that God's Word does not go out void. Is there something in your life that is causing you to wonder about His Word? I sincerely hope that you will find the answer.

The part where Joshua stopped the sun is true. And the part when god turned the water of the Nile into blood, that's true too, let's see what else...

Oh yes, the part where Moses peed on a shrub and it bloomed manna for a week, that's true too.

Yes, but you have to read the Bible in context.

You can't take the parts of the Bible which God intended to be viewed as a figure of speech literally.

Or take things God intended to be taken literally as if it was said in figurative language.

Reading the Bible in context shows you which is which.
