What made the body heals the body.

If God made it eat it: if man made it read it.

We lost our symbiotic relationship with raw plant foods which contain enzymes, vitamin/minerals, and anti aging affects with phytonutrients that snuff out cancer before it begins. Now, we live in the age of green harvesting and are missing these nutrients and everyone is on white flower products, processed foods and artificial sweeteners. People are inadvertantly committing a slow suicide and don't even know it, because they have no idea that our foods used to be 95% natural before the 1960's. Now, they are 95% processed.

To me it means exactly what it was attributed - that the food you eat decides your state of health which in effect decides you present and future which simply defines "you".
On your second question I must say that this "was, is and will always remain true"...
Look around and will be awed at the number of complianants of hypothyroidism. This is called a "lifestyle disaease" (more of these at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifestyle_diseases where it clearly states that diet is a major cause). I am hypothyroidic myself and this is attributed y the doctors to my grand office timings and more importantly my diet. I am much better now thanks to the good (read also as nutritious) food prepared at home.
A word of caution to those who lead a wandering lifestyle - now or later the health problems will catch-up with you; so try to prevent things which "can" be avoided. This does not mean "avoid" junk food. Give a thought and balance your diet.

Physically I guess what you eat shows on you, so to a large extent you really are waht you eat. But looking at it differently does it also mean that your eating habits also reflect your personality? For eg. Being able to say no to junk food, which actually is very tempting reflects that you are a strong person with a solid will power.

To me it's really true! I'm on a lot of pain meds, which are constipating. If I don't eat beans, coleslaw or salad, hi-fiber cereal, and an apple every day, I get constipated. If I don't poop for over 3 days, I'm miserable.

For me, a good day is a day I poop! Others may take that for granted, but it really makes a difference to me. So I am what I eat!.

That's what it means to ME. I'm sure it means other things to other people. Great question deseves a star! :)

There are two types of food. Satvik and Tamas. Tamas food causes aggression and satvik food keeps man cool and calm. Generally, what tastes good is not good for health and vise versa.

It means that just like with computer programming--"garbage in, garbage out", i.e., if one eats poor nutritional quality food one will lose ones health, which will become like garbage, or, if one eats high nutritional quality food, like our food pyramid recommends, one will enjoy optimum health.
