from your parents? even though your in your 20's or 30's!
We all have tattoos cause they look good
& that was why we choose to have them.

i have never hidden my tattoos - well, ok, i have one that is a bit rude so i had it tattooed on my bum - but the others aren't hidden, i like them and i paid good money for them so i won't hide them. some show on a daily basis, and others are only seen when i am on the beach and wearing a bikini.
they are part of me and my parents, my boss, my friends, all accept that i love tattoos and will probably get more!

Well, my father passed away 10 years ago this month, and my mother's vision isn't what it used to be (she's only 72, too, but macular degeneration is weird that way).
On the other hand, one of the reasons I have such a relaxed attitude is some of the military folks on my dad's side were tattooed, so I doubt anyone would care. I just don't have much chance to show it to them, them living so far away from me.

!! the day after i got my first tattoo i went and showed my parents... 8 years later i have many more tattoos and... they have tattoos now too! in 3 weeks we are going to a tattoo convention together! so no, i don't hide them from my parents but i do hide them from one set of grandparents... mostly because i don't want to disappoint them. i love them and i know they love me but i'm pretty sure they have ideas about the "type" of person who as tattoos and i don't want to worry them. tho they did see my first tattoo but all of my newer tattoos are MUCH larger.

I'm 30, and I've hid mine for years, then last month I totally forgot about them until my mom started freaking out :) I love all my tats and I'm proud of all of 'em. I'm lucky to have a job where they don't care, as long as there are no curse words or boobies :)

no i never hade to hide them i told my parents how it was steright up and they where mad at first and then i went out and payed for then to get one and tattos are like art,love and why hide it when u can show it off to every body

I show my mom the day I get each of mine.
And i have been trying to get her to get a tattoo of her own.

Not at all. My mum actually likes most of them. But I have an aunt that hates them, which is very more reason for me to make sure she sees them!!

I don't hide mine on purpose. It doesn't always show but that's b/c its in a place that is not appropriate to show in all situations.But I have never denied it or hidden it on purpose.

No and I never have actually I thought my mom may have something bad to say about my tats but surprisingly she thought they were pretty.
