You shouldn't stop eating all together because your body will be used to food and if you stop eating for a period of time, then eat again; your body will go into shock and store more energy incase it goes under the pressure of no food again. then you'll probably get bigger :/

If someone wanted to loose weight, they should eat 5 small meals a day + not snack in betwen and exercise for atleast half an hourr; thats proven to work (:

It you WERE 14 stone and stopped eating your body would switch rapidly to starvation mode. In this way the body tries to conserve calories and weight is lost very slowly indeed.

Metabolism becomes catabolic, this results not only in loss of fat, but also protein breakdown. This causes muscle loss which may include cardiac (heart) muscle, and so is potentially dangerous.

If you want to lose weight you need to combine a modest calorie reduction with a large increase in calorie expenditure. Minimum would be 30 minutes of vigorous exercise 5 days a week, indefinitely.

It's a real bad idea to stop eating at any weight. Your body is deprived from nutrients, will crave food and make you very ill. Eventually, you will either crave food so much you will binge, gain weight (because your body automatically turns food to fat after not eating) and feel worse about what you eat or you will end up painfully thin like aneorexic people.

It's better to eat a balanced diet, exercise and love you for yourself.

They would die of starvation. They wouldn't be 14 stone when they died, but they wouldn't be in any condition to enjoy their new slim figures because they'd feel horrible and look horrible. Not a good way to diet. If they stopped drinking as well they'd be dead within a week.

You'd get hungry and eventually eat...simple as that. Of course you'd probably end up binging on junk food to make up for starving yourself and gain weight in the process...

As a fully trained pyschoweightologist I'd say that they would initially kill someone then probably lose weight gradually through stress.

it will not help you lose weight quickly as your body would slow down its metabolic rate and store fat instead of burning it up, you would lose weight eventually but it would not be good for you it would cause all sorts of problems with your organs etc.
