I think they would, wouldn't you if you received
some expensive speakers that were in much
worse condition than what the ad said when
you made the purchase?

You're best off either telling the buyer what
happened and renegotiate the deal, or refund
the buyer's money and re-list the speakers clearly
describing the actual condition of the speakers.

If you go through with this deal as is, you run the
risk of not only getting negative feedback, but you
could possibly lose your eBay account altogether.
If you're using eBay to make money, think about
the big picture. No eBay, no money.

They could give you really bad feedback, they could raise a fuss with Ebay or Paypal.

Ebay depends on everyone being honest. If you lie about the condition, you have to expect to pay the consequences.

You should be prepared to refund a portion of the buyer's money.

Tell the buyer; send them pictures of the damage if you can. Give them the option of canceling the auction, or negotiate a better price, since otherwise you might end up eating the shipping cost both ways.
