meditation is a forum ove relaxation it relieves stress from the mind, soul and the body. there is different forms ove meditation for what kind ove stress that is bothering you if its mental stress i find that soft music works and total piece and quite in my fav room laying down works it takes me about 20 to 30 Min's ove that to relax..one thing about meditation you have to have the mind to want to do it.... if you are wanting to try please do it does really work ...thanks...

You can get special CDs that tell you what to do and how to relax yourself.
The benefits are just being able to relax yourself and do something good for your body.

Basically, you focus your mind on one thing while being relaxed. Think of nature. In Buddhism, we think of nothing or we count or breath to ten and count back down.
